    It’s been a hot minute since I shared my food stuffs with you beauties so I thought I’d update you on my current diet 🥰🍕 (I’m never ON a diet, but we all HAVE a diet, just to clear that up).
    .
    And for anyone who isn’t familiar with my story, I’ve been living that #glutenfreelife and #dairyfreelife for about 13 years now, and this past year eliminated eggs, corn, potatoes, booze, sugar and rice as part of my #hormonalimbalance and #autoimmuneprotocol strategy. 👌🏼💕
    .
    ANYWAYS, my current diet entails the following:
    .
    1️⃣ Drinking 100+ oz of water every day.
    2️⃣ Eating a variety of awesome plants (fruits, vegetables, legumes, seeds)
    3️⃣ Sourcing my meat (beef, chicken, bison, fish) from a local ranch near Saskatoon (@coolspringsranch) so it isn’t pumped with hormones/antibiotics/grain fed.
    4️⃣ Cutting out ALL (yes all) starchy carbs and grains. This is totally personal, but I thrive when I only eat GF Oats, quinoa, some sweet potatoes and I make my own bagels, breads, muffins etc. using almond flour or coconut flour and flax “eggs”.
    5️⃣ Making a LOADED shakeology smoothie every day post workout (current fave is vegan vanilla with raspberries, hemp hearts and coconut milk).
    6️⃣ Eating one Tbsp of sauerkraut before supper to help get extra probiotics in.
    7️⃣ Eating one full avocado every day ish
    8️⃣ Drinking #bulletproofcoffee every morning as my breakfast.
    9️⃣ When I crave something sweet, I’ll eat a small piece of @giddyyoyo chocolate or a couple dates with almond butter or a couple figs or make muffins.
    🔟 Not being on my phone while I’m eating, really trying to taste each bite and being mindful of how fast I’m eating. (This seems like a small thing, but it truly helps your body better digest your food!)

    What “style” of diet do you thrive on?? There truly is no one size fits all!! That’s actually one of the reasons I’m SO GRATEFUL to have access to the BOD blog. There are hundreds of recipes for every style of diet!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 .
    Whether you function best with vegan, keto, paleo, Mediterranean, whole30, etc. Our bio individuality means that while for someone eggs are an issue, for another they’re great! ✌🏼💕

    ✨Celebrating another trip around the sun today with the start of a new semester. 🎂✨

    ✨My birthday sort of creeped up on me this year. When I was asked how I wanted to celebrate, my honest answer was: sleep, meal prep, a bath, and getting back to my schedule. The basics.✨

    ✨There is no doubt this is symbolic of my intention for the year. 2018 was a year of massive upheaval. I was pushed to do make radical changes. ✨

    ✨For 2019, my intention is simplicity. Small, daily grounding steps to keep building on 2018 and my goals. I’m ready to experience a different kind of change this year. ✨ #HellotoHealth #KAWellness

    I guess better late than never 😄 Here is the final Day 1️⃣2️⃣ of the #beyondflexibilityandfloat challenge which is #handstand #jumpthrough and yogis choice. Of course I wanted to do something funky and tried this jump through and then a “mini jump back” and #tripodheadstand to #crowpose #bakasana BUT my hands somehow were to far from my head and everything became SO hard 😆 Oh well, it worked out well in the end. Shaky shaky 😄 .

    I used to have such bad anxiety about sharing my past because I didn’t have the squeaky clean image a lot of the fitness trainers and influencers had online 🏋🏼‍♀️ As soon as I let that go and I started to love myself regardless of anything I did in the past, I became so content in my life 💕 I began to see my worth, I felt empowered and created such a high for myself that no one could tell me to keep quiet about WHO I AM, what I believe and what I feel! 🙌🏻 some people, even those close to me feel uncomfortable for the things I share online about ME 💛 Well it’s non of their business, I am at such a great place and my goal for opening up is to MAKE AN IMPACT! 🔥 to help others and to create positivity in this world! 🌏 BE YOU! OWN YOU! Be proud of YOU! And if you are going through something right now - DON’T LET YOUR STRUGGLE BECOME YOUR IDENTITY! 🙋🏼‍♀️

    Now I can do it very easily, and it feels very natural, as if my body knows every movement and knows what about to come.
