    One of the hardest things about being a business owner is making time for yourself - I learned that lesson hard in my first couple years of business.  I couldn't really balance the time between work, my family, and myself.

If you've known me that long, you've seen the journey that I've taken from weight loss to weight gain and now loss again.  I'm SO fortunate to have found @cyclebar_redmill because it gives me motivation to keep that weight loss train going.

For me, though, especially as a business owner, it's more than a weight loss journey.  It's making time for yourself and the things that are important - and REALLY taking care of yourself.  I try to be smart with my time - but I make it a point to schedule my spin classes over a week in advance - and it's rare that I will let something take those time slots.  I want to go at least 5 times a week, and with wedding season coming up, that means Monday-Friday, it's happening (even if I have to get up at 5:30am to make it to an early morning class).

Even if it's just those 45 minutes that you're in spin class, you've got to find time to take care of yourself as a business owner.  Make the time.  Since I started doing this back in October, not only am I healthier, but I'm a hell of a lot happier, too.

In case I haven’t told you enough, I’m in love with the most incredible man. 😍 And even though it’s the best feeling, it’s teaching me some hard lessons about myself. Being in relationship has a funny way of bringing our pain and coping mechanisms to the surface. 👫🌱

I’ve had to face so much about myself I could’ve otherwise gotten through life ignoring - issues with control, avoidance, and unworthiness are all being magnified and I’m having trouble going easy on my inner child when they come up. 👶🏼
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s easy to be mad at my inner child for haunting me with stuff from my past. 👻 I catch myself kicking myself for my negative thoughts instead of loving myself through them.

Remember:
🔮 We’ve all had a childhood.
💔 We’ve all faced trauma.
🍃We all come messy and broken even if we thought we were put together and fixed.

💎 No matter what you’re facing - a relationship, work issue, personal battle - know that the path to your best self starts with love and acceptance. 🛤 You are not damaged, you’re just on the same healing journey we’re all on. 🤗

    Happy Monday!
I may be back at school, but don’t let the gym pic fool ya cause it’s an unplanned rest day for this chick🐥. I haven’t been feeling 💯 since coming back from San Diego, and it’s finally caught up to me and I’m sick🤧.

I am a firm believer in listening to your body so yo girl is going nowhere near the gym today. In the past I would of freaked out about missing a workout, but honestly I would just be doing my body more harm than good🤷🏼‍♀️. My workout would be 💩 and I would definitely feel 💩ier after it.

So today, the only thing getting a workout is my brain🧠 from all the chem studying🤓. The worst kind of workout lol.
