Lol wow “We're going to have to tase him to let go and that was the only thing that got him to let go of that van." When your vehicle is burning, it’s done. Holding onto it isn’t going to help... you’ll die :(

As the summer progresses I love to see how the countryside colours are evolving. We were surrounded by shades of mauve, violet and purple, it feels like there are more wild flowers this year but maybe that’s just wishful thinking.

Rocky hikes in the mountains can be tricky on the legs and the landscape can seem a bit harsh and maybe even repetitive...but once you start considering the fact that glaciers carved and formed the landscape centuries ago, you will begin to appreciate the unreal scale and power of nature’s processes. Hiking across such vast landscapes is in our opinion the best way to experience the immense space and beauty of the Nordic mountains.

'We have to believe in the power of the small things. In the comfort of a cup of tea, in the calming view of sunset...'
————————————————————————
It was sunny the whole afternoon before the heavy rain came and then, this rewarding sundown view. It has been more than 2 years since my last visit here, they now have 2 flower farms instead of 1 (meaning diff entrance fees per site) and loads of upgrades to attract more tourists. For me, I still prefer the simple flower farm I visited back then dedicated to bountiful blooms compared to what I see now.

golden hour in the cascades ⛰✨ still trying to wrap my mind around the sunset a couple nights ago, we had one night left and decided to go out with a bang, so we sent it up a more than sketchy road for around seven miles, took a short hike, and ended up at one of the most beautiful fire lookouts we had seen yet, where we were treated to a view that was almost indescribable, surrounded by mountains, clouds, and color, and in a place where you could literally feel the history oozing out, a memory that will only be lasted through these photos, here are some favorites...✌🏻
