Had two amazing workshops at @kineticliving this morning! As I was driving back home after I realised that just a few years ago I was so nervous to teach members at my own gym how to weightlift. Today I felt so confident being able to teach people I've never met before and it was such an incredible feeling. Thank you everyone for coming, I had an incredible time 💞
Thanks @coach.urmi for having me ☺️☺️ #WeightLifting #Snatch #Workshop #learninganddevelopment

It’s crazy awesome to be back in Darwin, I grew up here, but haven’t been back since a Rugby 7s tour many moons ago(7? Years), and with that I didn’t see much of the place. It’s been bringing up crazy old and forgotten memories.
This is where my love for sport first started. One of the wicked things about growing up here is that there wasn’t much to do but play sports. I played heaps, Rugby, hockey, touch, horse riding, soccer, basketball, volleyball, athletics... There is heaps that has changed in the last 15 years here, but lots that hasn’t and I can see so much of who I am as an adult is because I was a Darwin girl. I can attribute my love for the outdoors, for sunsets, fresh water and open roads, for hair off my neck and a lack of value in materialism my first 15 years.

The best thing about being here again is getting to spend time with my nephews and big bro. I cannot wait to have my family in the stands on Sunday, doing what I love in a place I still love.
Huge thank you to @_massage_life and @aaphysiotherapy for seeing me while in Adelaide, I miss you guys and your incredible treatments and to @twlgear for the new knee sleeves!

Hi it’s me, here to tell you that our bodies look different each and every day for loadsss of different reasons!

So don’t be disheartened when you wake up looking less lean one day compared to the day before. It does not mean that you have gained weight!
Here’s just a few reasons why our body changes day by day:
.
✨ Water intake
✨ Sodium intake
✨ Food intake
✨ Food outake? 😏💩
✨ Water output 💦
✨ Time of the month
✨ Amount of sleep
✨ Food intolerances
✨ Stress

Today’s post continues the examination of two Cartilage Structures associated with the Hyoid Bone and the lower Pharynx – the Thyroid Cartilage and the Cricoid Cartilage. This post again focusses on the Thyroid Cartilage.
✖️
👀 In the Male, the Thyroid Cartilage projects forwards. This gives rise to the Laryngeal Prominence or Adam’s Apple. The two Laminae meet in a V-shaped notch – the Superior Thyroid Notch. This can be easily palpated just above the Laryngeal Prominence.
✖️
👀 On the sides of the Laminae are two projections – the Superior Tubercle and the Inferior Tubercle. They are joined by a slight ridge – the Oblique Line, which is a major Muscle Attachment. The posterior Border of each Lamina is prolonged upward and downward to form two projections – the Superior Horn and the Inferior Horn. The Superior Horn points upwards and backwards, the Inferior Horn points downwards.
✖️
🔴 To be continued.

🔥 Cheesy twice baked potatoes 🔥
This was so easy to make and so damn delicious! Just take a couple large baking potatoes, scrub them clean and pierce them w/ a fork, then wrap them in foil and place on baking sheet. I baked them at 425° for about an hour, then let them cool a bit to prevent burning myself. Once they were cool enough to touch, I sliced each potato in half and scooped out the insides and set aside the tater guts (*make sure to leave behind enough potato so the skins stay in tact). Then I made my mash; added @zengarryveg creamy cashew swiss, @tofuttibrands plain cream cheese, garlic powder & splash of unsweetened cashew milk. Mix until smooth and creamy and then evenly distribute mash back into potato skins. Place back on backing sheet and bake for another 20ish min or until potatoes start to brown. You can top your potatoes off w/ whatever you desire, I added my cheese sauce (swipe for recipe *also added @followyourheart shreds to sauce) & bac’n bits! ✨
