In my opinion the achilles tendon is the most important tendon for any athlete, which means one needs to take care of and prepare it on a daily basis, yes I learned my lesson the hard way 😕

In the video I show some exercises that I do 3-5 minutes each morning and evening. Good thing is, you don’t need special equipment, a ladder or even stairs will do the job.

If one want to specifically aim for the achilles tendon, the soleus version with the knee bend need to be done.

I do a mix of all exercises, it is very important to not only do the static position, but doing the dynamic and bouncing is key, because that is what the muscle and tendon is supposed to do, dynamic work!

I had the benefits from doing these regularly:
- increased ankle mobility
- increased vertical
- more bouncy jump
- reduced achilles tendinitis (taking 6 weeks to get rid of in both legs doing it every other day only, with inflammation doing it everyday is too much)

The exercises can even be done in a legpress machine with higher loads! ———————————
