    I love snacks, always have and I always will. My snack formerly consisted of slim jims, candy bars and cheddar cheese potato chops. It definitely makes sense as to why I was always anxious and riddled with depression. 
The food you eat is either healing and nourishing you or slowly killing you! We live in such a fast-paced world that is easy to get caught into the trap of eating things on the go that are devoid of any type of nutrition. 
When I’m not eating bbq okra popcorn, my go-to snack are chickpeas. Why? Because they are an nutritional bodyguard for mental wellness. GOOD MOOD FOOD, y’all!! #DIDYOUKNOW they are full of iron, zinc, copper, phosphorus, folate, manganese, protein and fiber. Plus tons of magnesium, potassium, selenium, Vitamin B6, calcium, Vitamin K and thiamin. People that struggle with anxiety and emotional distress disorders are lacking in usually 3 or more of the above nutrients.

    Garlic Parmesan Zucchini Noodles⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Ingredients:⁣⁣
1 1/4 cup spiralized zucchini 
1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half 
1 tbsp light butter, such as Land O' Lakes ⁣⁣
light butter with canola oil
1 clove garlic, minced 
1 tbsp Kraft grated parmesan cheese 
1/4 tsp dried basil or fresh basil
1/8 tsp salt 
dash of fresh ground pepper⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Directions:⁣⁣
Heat a large pan over medium high heat.⁣⁣
Melt butter and add garlic. Cook garlic until fragrant. Add zucchini noodles and tomatoes. Cook until tender, about 2 to 3 min. Do not overcook or the zucchini will get mushy. Remove the pan from the heat.  Add parmesan cheese and basil.⁣⁣
Season with salt and pepper, if desired.⁣⁣
