    Yesterday before going to the VW meeting I swapped injectors for a set out of a Mk3 OBD2. They’re compatible, no problem with that. The thing is that I was trying to solve that shaking idle issue I’ve had since the beginning of my 16v Digi project. I thought it was caused by bad injectors so I switched to these ones but the issue persists. So then I was curious about the Air Flow sensor. Today I opened it and tried to hold the meter with my fingers while the engine was running. The idle got fixed. Once I release the meter the car starts to shake again, cuz’ the meter shakes as well. Weird. So I believe this is one of the common Digi issues, if true I just would accept. I don’t expect more than what it does right now since being objective this is an almost 30 year old engine management system (and adapted to an engine it doesn’t belong to), so I’ll just try to keep it in the best working condition possible. I still want to change the O2 sensor and would also like to change the BBM fuel rail for one made of stainless steel and welded extensions I saw on the internet.     Shuffle with the BEAST Yamaha SG 1000s Love this guitar, one of my dads old additions since the early 80’s. Was actually a righty originally but he turned to left side which is the best side 😇Privileged to have it in my hands. Thanks Dad 👍 (tunings a nm in this weather) 😰

    Finally got some free time to bust out this old beast. Threw some @traxxas top fuel in her gave it a few turns and she fired right up. Time to get this tuning right and go 60mph+!! #traxxas #tmaxx #tuningissues

    Our notation system is not actually perfect. It is a compromise. An Ab is not the same as a G#. There is no perfect pitch. When you use the harmonics of a standing wave in a tube it does not follow the noting system. The tube itself has no idea what notation is. We manipulate the tube best possibly into tune using the tapers of the bore, placement and sizing of tone holes, venting of keys, pulling of slides.. all things which is essentially just trying to effect the length and shape of the tube on certain nodes/anti nodes of the wave. The rest is up to the player. Tuning is not perfect. It is a long process of trying to tame a naturally occuring phenomena, it is the science of acoustics, which we can be grateful has come as far as at has!

    Had to archive some photos for a little bit due to pending litigation with that asshole who hit my car. So here she is in the stall, waiting O2 sensors so I can finally drive her again. I am pretty sure I have to bring it back to @eurochargedorlando just to make sure all T’s are crossed and I’s dotted. According to Xentry I’m running rich and possibly picking up the rear O2’s still after the tune. 🤷🏽‍♂️ so I’ve put in new plugs and now new O2’s fingers crossed 🤞🏽 b/c I want to drive without a CEL. Trying to have the 200 cell high flows removed and straight pipe it until the xpipe, that should smooth out the sound. At least my gym works 🤷🏽‍♂️ #w212amg #m156 #e63amg #TuningIssues
