Now this a #truestory as kindness and truth are not always what we perceive, or seen through our own grid. Its exactly that: kindness and truth - in its raw form.... #foodforthought

#TheLegionOfDoom From the NYT: Roy P. Benavidez, a former Green Beret sergeant who received the Medal of Honor from President Ronald Reagan for heroism died today at 63. [1998]
On the morning of May 2, 1968, Mr. Benavidez, a staff sergeant with the Army's Special Forces, the Green Berets, heard the cry ''get us out of here'' over his unit's radio while at his base in Loc Ninh, South Vietnam. He also heard ''so much shooting, it sounded like a popcorn machine.'' The call for aid came from a 12-man Special Forces team -- 3 Green Berets and 9 Montagnard tribesmen -- that had been ambushed by North Vietnamese troops at a jungle site a few miles inside Cambodia.

Sergeant Benavidez jumped aboard an evacuation helicopter that flew to the scene. ''When I got on that copter, little did I know we were going to spend six hours in hell,'' he later recalled.
After leaping off the helicopter, Sergeant Benavidez was shot in the face, head and right leg, but he ran toward his fellow troops, finding four dead and the others wounded.

He dragged survivors aboard the helicopter, but its pilot was killed by enemy fire as he tried to take off, and the helicopter crashed and burned. Sergeant Benavidez got the troops off the helicopter, and over the next six hours, he organized return fire, called in air strikes, administered morphine and recovered classified documents, although he got shot in the stomach and thigh and hit in the back by grenade fragments.
He was bayoneted by a North Vietnamese soldier, whom he killed with a knife. Finally, he shot two enemy soldiers as he dragged the survivors aboard another evacuation helicopter.

When he arrived at Loc Ninh, Sergeant Benavidez was unable to move or speak. Just as he was about to be placed into a body bag, he spit into a doctor's face to signal that he was still alive and was evacuated for surgery in Saigon.
    Sergeant Benavidez was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross in 1968, but that award was upgraded to a Medal of Honor in 1981. - #regrann #ignation #instagramhub #instadaily #igdaily #truestory #salute #militaryhistory #army #armystrong #hero #boss #honor

"Lepšie byť v prírode na elektrobicykli, ako keby ste mali sedieť doma." Skúsme byť viac zhovievavejší k luďom, ktorí jazdia na baterku. Sú ľudia, ktorí majú zdravotné problémy, nemajú čas, či majú iné životné priority, ale aj inú si chcú užiť voľný čas so svojimi rodinami či priateľmi alebo aj sami niekde v prírode na bicykli.🙂

I’m talking about synchronicity and manifestation on the blog today {link in bio}. I experienced it first hand AGAIN yesterday when I met @chattanooga_physical_therapy! She does mobile concierge services and I am going to take full advantage of this to work towards my goal of walking without my cane. Synchronicity has been happening to me all year so I know I’m on the right path! What are your thoughts on synchronicity? #synchonicity

"Giovanni ama i dinosauri e il rosso; va al cinema con una compagna, torna a casa e annuncia : < mi sono sposato>. Giovanni che sa essere estenuante, logorante, che ogni giorno va in giardino e porta un fiore alle sorelle. E se è inverno e non lo trova porta loro foglie secche."

    Mio fratello rincorre i dinosauri,
    Giacomo Mazzariol.

    Sicuramente un must have. •

“Do you see the clouds? do you see the top of the mountain? would you see the top of the mountain even if completely covered by clouds?
Here; there are two types of people. Those who see the clouds and give up and limit those who instead scrutinize the top and the people who, beyond the clouds, know that there is the top and want to reach it.
Always choose who sees the top.
always choose who spurs you, who raises you, who supports you and defends you.
just as climbers defend their mountain.
Choose who respects you because those who respect you never denigrate.
Choose who respects you because at the base of a relationship there must be respect.
The climbers know it. If you do not respect the mountain, you fall. If you do not respect the mountain, you fail. If you do not respect the mountain you will never reach the top.
And remember; we respect each other immediately; there are no second ways.
respect is not bought, no alms.
respect the mountain before and during the journey never after.
Afterwards it is not respect, it is fiction, it is the hope of "making it feel respected" in order to try again to climb it.
Respect and love in the moment.
Accept the failure because during this you will find the strongest light and the greatest satisfactions.
    Respect nature, respect people.”
