    Just to give you an idea of how much I can actually eat at any given time. Roughly 5 real bites of food... kinda have to decide which portion of my plate I want more - the turkey and onions with mushroom gravy or cabbage...

    With all this rain— I seriously just want to sit at home and scarf down pizza all day. Haha
    Is all this rain making you feel the same?
    Turns out- an easy way I’ve been motivating myself more is taking delicious shakes to the gym to drink between sets.
    With how much I like sugary foods- this one from #BodyTech is my favorite cause it tastes like delicious fruity cereal- so I get that junk food feeling EXCEPT it’s super healthy…hehe😋🏋️‍♂️ How are your workouts going-

    A different kind of #transformationtuesday . Little known fact; I have the tightest hip flexors. So as a result, without proper stretches my squat depth is 💩. My hip flexors have made it almost impossible for me to be able to squat ass to grass since I end up feeling some tension after a certain depth.
    So late last year I’ve been doing stretches to improve my hip mobility before doing squats and it’s worked wonders for me. My depth has improved greatly and even though it might not be that low it’s helped me achieve a fairly good squat form. My squats aren’t that perfect but my depth and strength has really progressed. My PR hasn’t changed much over the past 6 months but my form has really improved. After all good form is way better than heavy weights that can injure you

    ⛔️ I’m not an expert, I’m just sharing my own personal fitness journey and what works for me
    ⛔️ Before someone says it’s photoshopped because I have a beauty spot on the left pic and not on the right: the right pic was taken from my other side so I just flipped it
    ➖ HOW LONG DID IT TAKE ➖
    The picture on the left was taken in 2015 but I only started being serious about training and my diet around Christmas 2016
    ➖TRAINING➖
    🔹 From January to September 2017, I trained 4-5 times a week at the gym
    🔹 From September to December 2017, I trained at home only
    🔹 At the moment I’m training both at home and at the gym, working on glutes 2-3 times a week, doing the gym-based legs & glutes sessions from my guide and adding the home glutes session from my guide as well when I don’t train at the gym
    🔹 I don’t do much cardio at the moment but when I do, it’s mostly HIIT workouts I’m trying
    ➖DIET➖
    🔹 I’m trying to eat healthy most of the time and I allow myself daily treats
    🔹 I’m back at tracking calories but I’m not too strict with it
    🔹 I try to cook my own meals as often as possible
    🔹 Scroll a few posts down for more on how many calories I eat ☺️
    ➖STRETCH MARKS➖
    🔹 I know they seem to have disappeared but THEY HAVEN'T, it’s only due to a different lighting I think
    🔹 How to get rid of stretch marks is probably one of the questions I get asked the most: I don’t know the answer to this question, I still have them (on my bum, thighs & boobs) and that’s okay and normal!! I don’t even think about them now
    ➖CELLULITE➖
    🔹 Only a healthy diet + training allowed me to lose most of the cellulite I had
    🔹 Although it’s almost completely gone now, I still have some, it’s okay and ABSOLUTELY normal!!
    🔹 Many variables impact how visible it is on a daily basis (diet, hydration, periods, heat, water retention etc.)
    🔹 No specific anti cellulite lotion was helpful ever, at best it made it look smoother but only superficially

    Pcos, suicidal depression, anxiety, lethargy, insomnia and severe sleep apnea pushed me to change. I literally felt like I was dying. I was physically, mentally and spiritually in the worst shape of my life. All I ever wanted to do was hide myself from the world because I was so terrified of what people thought of me. I have carried shame for a very long time. Just taking up space in the world was hard for me. I felt so empty just over a week ago and had a eureka moment. I was at the point where I said “what is even the point of anything”. I didn’t realise I was going to start my new life the day after. I got so sick and tired of being sick and tired. ✨ Even though I’m on just over a week into changing my habits, I feel so much better! My goal is to feel full of energy, finally see myself as a priority to be a better mother and partner along with the hope of gaining some confidence along the way. My goal is to work towards getting ripped! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🏋🏻‍♀️🧘‍♀️

    I often share my results from our 2 year health journey. Today I wanted to share my husbands. I am so grateful that he has joined me. That is NOT always the case. ~Jeff was having a lot of painful stomach issues and had seen a few Doctors, many tests and upper GI, Lower GI, colonoscopy. Nothing solved. ~ At first he wasn’t going to do it with me and at the last minute he changed his mind. ~Our programs are simple
