    Gotta make sure my new friend is buckled up! This is the Oov and my new partner in combat against Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 I was in a car accident 3 years ago that caused gradually more noticeable structural shifts, resulting in increasing amounts of chronic nerve pain. It is mentally, physically, and emotionally taxing, but I insist that my suffering is not in vain. After countless unconcerned medical professionals over those 3 years, I’m finally in the care and contact of some folks who really know what they’re doing. I’m now in Pilates-based Physical Therapy sessions, and while I’m still in a lot of pain most of the time, I’m getting stronger and fighting harder everyday.

I read that quote the other day and it really struck a cord in me.
_
When I was younger, I had a goal of becoming a journalist. I also had the goal of meeting my "soul mate" in university, getting married and having kids by the time I was 25.
_
Yeah, I know... What was I thinking?
_
Here is the truth. 
_
I am not going to be a journalist.
I haven't met my soul mate.
And I am not getting married.
Kids by 25? I don't know, we will see. 
_
But here is the other truth.
My goals haven't changed. I still want to make it big. I still want to fall in love with the right person and have a family. My methods, however, have changed.
_
Over the last couple of years, I learned how to change my outlook on life. No longer have I been planning every single step of it, because life is unpredictable. But, I've been setting myself up for success despite not knowing exactly what that success is.
_
I have grown to be focused on finding what makes me happy, and that means that sometimes I have to make changes in my life that won't make me happy right now, but I know will in the long term. I have learned that I can't depend on just "school work" to find a job right out of University. I had to grind and network and make a brand for myself. 
_
Don't ever give up on your goals, but you will likely never attain them unless you learn to adjust your methods along the way. 
_
You can't be an expert today on a future that you haven't lived yet, but the present can teach you have to become that expert in the future.

    Dokładnie rok temu (18.04.2018) zaczęła się moja przygoda z najpaskudniejszym koniem świata. Jules. 
To był zdecydowanie rok pracy. Rok ciężkiej pracy. Momentami było naprawdę trudno, chciałam to wszystko rzucić, nigdy więcej nie wracać do jeździectwa. Jednak było warto było próbować, próbować i wsiadać z powrotem po każdym upadku.
Żaden koń nie nauczył mnie tyle co ona. Wybaczała mi dużo błędów, sama naprawiała to, co ja psułam. Patrząc z perspektywy czasu; Jules nauczyła mnie jednej, bardzo ważnej rzeczy, której nie potrafiłam wynieść z jazd na koniach szkółkowych, a później nawet z treningów, na które wypożyczyłam konie sportowe. Pokora. Tego mi brakowało na początku naszej drogi. 
Przez ten rok uczyłyśmy się razem na nowo. Poznawałyśmy się i przypominałyśmy wszystko od samych podstaw. Mam nadzieje, że kolejny rok będzie jeszcze bardziej udany i uda nam się wynieść jeszcze więcej z każdej, nawet najkrótszej chwili spędzonej razem. #horse #mylife #sport #jumping #jumpinghorse #training #horseriding #anniversary

    🍅🍒🍓 Me looking very red faced after tonight’s 6 miler 😂 I just don’t do the heat very well. I then went out and helped the beginners couch to 5k course, they are doing so well! It’s so lovely to see them progress 🤗🙌🏻🏃🏻‍♀️ it’s finally the Bank Holiday Weekend! We made it 😁
