    The last 10 days leading up to #trt100 I have been spending 30 minutes or so a day reading in the American River. Not sure if there is anything scientific about it, but it has felt great on my body and mind. I guess we will find out if it works on Saturday. Running aside, it is a hell of a way to spend an afternoon. #buckleup

    It is crazy to look back 3 years ago at a time when I hadn’t ran more than a mile. I was peaking for American Open. Clean and Jerk @ 155kg and I was right around 96kgs in body weight. As I have emerged myself into both the strength and endurance world, I have come to truly respect my journey so far. Looking back at this lift, it makes my heart happy. I truly love Weightlifting, I love Ultra-Running, and I love Fitness in general. I love everything that I’ve be able to learn up to this point. I am where I am today through countless hours of trial and error in multiple different domains that have taught me a lot.

    It is crazy to look back 3 years ago at a time when I hadn’t ran more than a mile. I was peaking for American Open. Clean and Jerk @ 155kg and I was right around 96kgs in body weight. As I have emerged myself into both the strength and endurance world, I have come to truly respect my journey so far. Looking back at this lift, it makes my heart happy. I truly love Weightlifting, I love Ultra-Running, and I love Fitness in general. I love everything that I’ve be able to learn up to this point. I am where I am today through countless hours of trial and error in multiple different domains that have taught me a lot.

Una cosa es estar vivo y otra muy distinta VIVIR la vida. 
Y es que todas las personas que habitan la tierra están vivas, sin embargo, muy pocos son los que viven de verdad. ¿Sabes a qué me refiero?

Vivir es algo más que existir, aunque muchas veces se nos olvida. 
Vivir es permitirnos segundas y terceras oportunidades oportunidades.

Vivir ES QUEDARNOS SIN ALIENTO y tener ganas de más. 
Vivir es tomar conciencia de la gran suerte que tenemos por el simple hecho de estar vivos.

Vivir es levantarse cada día con el objetivo de aprovechar al máximo cada segundo compartiéndolo con aquellas personas que más nos importan y dedicándolo a lograr lo 
que deseamos.

Vivir no ES sólo respirar sino que implica SOÑAR y además perseguir nuestros sueños. 
Vivir es TENER METAS y propósitos que la den sentido.

Vivir es intentarlo, caerse y levantarse para volver a intentarlo. Así hasta conseguirlo.

Vivir es ESFORZARSE sin rendirse.

Vivir es disfrutar de la calma y también del bullicio de la alegría, de los sueños que se tocab con la yema de los dedos.

Vivir es querer ser feliz.

La mayoría de la gente sólo se dedica a transitar por la vida y a "vivir" el tiempo que le ha sido regalado, haciendo lo mismo día tras día de forma automática, sin detenerse por un instante a pensar qué es lo que desea lograr y a dónde quiere ir. Es decir, está viva pero no vive.
