    Starting a new strength program primarily focused on high bar squats.

I find low bar with a wide stance allows my body to move more weight, but lacks tension on my quads. Which is is the primary reason for why I squat. 
Switching to high bar has dropped my 1 rep max almost 100lbs. This hurts a little bit 😥

Goal is to move 3 plates for 1 rep in 8 weeks. 
Wish me luck.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated.
