#tbt to last week in the Rose garden in Golden gate Park. There were so many beautiful and different roses, this one was amazing.

I'm learning to take the time to stop and smell the roses

As you grow spiritually and intellectually, the spectrum of your perspective shifts slowly. You become more compassionate towards those who are less fortunate. You start noticing little things in life that bring you joy. You become more acceptable of the situations thrown at you. You dwell in the present rather than mulling over the past and the fear of future bothers you less and less. Your life becomes more balanced. Your relationships flourish. .
This whole change in perspective reflects in everything you do, while slowly and steadily contentment from your heart stretches on your lips in the form of smile.

Do you agree?

Solo exploring not only pushes you out of your comfort zone, it also pushes you out of the zone of others expectations. 📸🚶🏾‍♀️

The only con of not having your friends with you is that you have to ask random people to take your photos in hopes they get some get angles lol. But then again, the only way to grow is to be uncomfortable so I stepped out of my introvert box to ask this guy to take my picture. Not too shabby. Pro? You decide when to get up, where to go, what to eat, who to talk to (or not), how to get from one place to the next. You can walk your own path and be yourself. ✨

You can’t understand a city without using its public transportation system. 🗺🚇 #ramblingbelow #soloexploring

Thank god for the public transportation system. Was actually faster a lot of times, well all of the times than driving. Being in a completely new environment than what you’re used to can be really overwhelming at times. I was getting so lost and annoyed because my GPS was not working right. I’m grateful that the lady at the counter knew some English, gave me this map and helped me map out my routes to the best parts of the city. There is so much going on every which way you look. I was able to see so much in one day. I took the public transportation all throughout high school where I had to wait ONE HOUR for a bus to come if I missed one. Here the buses come every 5-7 minutes for whatever route you need. There is also options to use the metro (underground) or a tram (trolley-type thingy) or bus. Let me add I took an Uber (Bolt) to the city for $36 dollars, which was a mistake because you can get a day pass for $5ish and get anywhere in about 20 minutes. Done rambling, but if you visit Budapest public transportation for the win! Will save you so much money and time.👍🏽

Budapest is the world’s melting pot of Architectural styles.

I love this city already. Just a random pic I took on my exploration lol.📸 #soloexploring #europetravel

When you’re curious, you find lots of interesting things to do - Walt Disney
Spent the day wandering alone and getting lost in Macao’s Natural Park. Sometimes I find the thought of doing things alone really scary but once I set my mind on an adventure and the only feeling left is curiosity and I’m always grateful I have the courage to overcome my fear.

After Portheras Cove it was across the bridge over the steam and up the other side - and yes, it was super steep. My gluteus can still feel it now 😂😂😂 The rain started easing up, the spring flowers were out. Speaking of which, anyone know what flower this is? There were plenty either side of the coastal path, I wasn't sure if I was allowed to pick some... Anyone know?

After a good 20 minutes up hill, dodging the rabbit holes in places, it was on to Pendeen Lighthouse.

Living in Cornwall I'm lucky enough to be able to have this just an hour away from me! So during the week on my days off (retail work means days off mid week) I took myself on a little camping trip to Morvah, a tiny little town just on the South West Coastal path, a stones throw from Portheras Cove, next to Pendeen (with the stunning lighthouse!), not far FROM National Trust place Levant mine.

A fab few days away, even in the rain. This was my first night after arriving Tuesday evening after work, being greeted by the cows then struggling with the tent for an hour 😂

More photos to follow.

Spent my morning at the Bell Museum. Checked out this big ass moon art installation, watched a planetarium show, and wandered around the museum. Such a neat place, and the planetarium show reminded me infinitly small we are in this grand, neverending universe. I've been wanting to explore this place for awhile and I'm glad I did. I was there for about 3.5 hours!

Now, I may or may not be breaking away from my nutrition stuff in favor of some Korean food 😬
