    Part 4 Mollie is fired! 📈Rough Draft Podcast😊🎙INAUGURAL PODCAST DECEMBER 2016 EXPERIENTIAL MARKETING

Rough Draft, 2.2 hours long. 
Part 1 (18 minutes) of potentially 5 parts with how everything evolved over a 3 hour period.

My conceptual thought partner while editing this was to shot how actual production works in developing a first time concept for a podcast as talent, producer, and how everything evolve over a 2-3 hour period.

All I did was take one of the best RAW clips (20 minutes) from a Canon 80D, paste it into the Final Cut Pro timeline, cut out the dead points, added simple transitions, with our names and instagram call signs.

This was originally shot with 3 cameras, however this created an editing nightmare with matching up audio sources. 
Show the actual production process with  brainstorming, “behind the scenes” , bloopers, funny clips, and clips that would make the “final cut” if we were just producing the podcast with no outtakes per se.

Mollie and I have been talking about this for a few years prior to 2016 and she just happened to be in town for a few days, contacted my friend Jon (he works in Film & TV) to help with lighting, camera work, audio and his expertise along with being a personal friend for 20 years.

ANY critical feedback is appreciated and enjoy our first shot at the Video Podcast, Stefan Speaks: Storytelling Through Narrative Life Experiences.

I know it sounds so silly that this little wall (ok, rather large wall) means so much to me! I had no idea going into this adventure that building a custom office and home was going to be so detailed. I kid you not Dolls, I picked the exact drywall, to the nails holding it up, along with the type of cement poured. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

It has always been easy for me to visualize the finished results as I walk through #TheDollDreamHouse and #TheDollHQ but now with walls, it really brings the project to life! I'll be posting a new update on the blog tomorrow, so you won't want to miss it! XoC #dollspartypretty

    Today is one of the best kind of days — photoshoot day for a sweet client of @poshpr! 🌟

My favorite thing about being the CEO on branding photoshoot days? Watching creative entrepreneurs thrive as I help them bring to life their dream brand! Ok Dolls, this might actually be one of my favorite aspects of my entire business. I love having the opportunity to watch a brand come to life and help my clients work towards living their Champagne life!

To be honest, branding photoshoots were not on my original business plan years ago.... but when your client asks for something, you figure it out! Over seven years later (and 25+ branding photoshoots later!) this is proof that growth is possible when you're hustling and chasing your dreams! XoC #dollspartypretty

    Here is Part 1️⃣ of 19 things nobody taught me in art school about the business of selling what it is you do, that I had to learn on my own 💯
⠀
1️⃣ People don’t buy the «thing.» They buy the brand.
⠀
If you want to sell your craft, then you have to shift your mentality from the object or service, to the brand you’re building and what you stand for.
⠀
2️⃣ You don’t get paid what you’re worth. You get paid what you negotiate.
⠀
People will not pay you more until you are able to explain why you should be paid more.
This is a hard truth to swallow.
⠀
3️⃣ Business is built on relationships.
⠀
If you want to be successful in business, period, you have to master the soft skill of forming bonds with people. That’s how opportunities fall into your lap. That’s how you get invited to the right places, to meet the right people.
⠀
4️⃣ If people don’t have to pay you, they won’t.
⠀
Work does not begin until payment is received. Let me say that again. Work does not begin until payment is received.
⠀
5️⃣ Consistency beats talent every time. (And if you have both, you’ll go far.)
⠀
The most accomplished people, in just about every industry, are largely the product of consistency. They aren’t wildly brilliant. They’re just consistent, day in and day out.
⠀
6️⃣ «No» doesn’t mean you’ve failed, it means you know what not to do again.
⠀
When someone tells you, «No, ” that doesn’t mean it’s over. That means you’ve learned something. You now know what not to do again, and where to move next.
⠀
7️⃣ Finding the right business partner requires dating around.
⠀
Getting into business with someone is a big decision. Not everyone is co-founder material. Not everyone is a worthwhile collaborator.
Date around. You’ll know the right one when you meet him/her.
⠀
8️⃣ If you want to grow faster, practice in public.
⠀
You learn a lot more, and grow a whole lot faster, if you practice in public, reveal in iterations, and adjust as you go. Not to mention you’ll end up building yourself into an industry thought leader in the process.
