A day full of emotions. Our big poster presentation day arrived. One year in the making, one year full of hard work, sacrifice but most importantly; friendship. What a joy it was to see how my classmates and I developed as leaders and presented with all the confidence in the world... even though we were shaking on the inside! Loved every minute of it! So happy pharmacy school gave us the opportunity to get to have an experience like this!

If you want to fly, you have to give up everything that is weighing you down // something I’ve learned recently is that just because you loved something or something was good for you before, doesn’t mean it is now. I feel like most people have a hard time letting go of the past, and spend too much time in bad situations because they’re scared to let go. At least I do. It’s part scared that if you move on, and you’re wrong, then you’ll end up making a big mistake. Part that if you move on, there’s no chance of getting it back. And part just scared of the unknown future. I’ve had to deal with this kind of stuff quite a bit as the school year is coming to an end. But I’ve also had a lot of beggings recently. And I realized that you can’t slow anything down or stop it long enough for you to catch up. You can only go along for the ride and do your best, because life moves on with or without you. So instead of being scared of letting go, or being scared of starting, we just need to be accepting of life as it comes. In life things will be ripped away from you and things will be thrown at you. You aren’t going to be prepared, but you can make the best of each one of them and turn it for good. So good luck, you got this. ❤️

On April 19, 1775, the “shot heard ’round the world” was fired when patriot militiamen met with British forces at the battle of Lexington and Concord.
#
Indeed, April 19, marks the day that colonial patriots who were fed up with the tyrannical oppression of the English monarchy when patriotic men took a stand against gun control efforts by a tyrannical government that wanted to keep them under its thumb.
#
And they did so with privately-owned firearms.
#
The night before, patriot intelligence found out that British forces were planning to mobilize out of Boston. So, Paul Revere and William Dawes were dispatched to warn militia members that the redcoats were indeed coming.
#
That morning 700 British regulars met some 77 patriot militia.
#
Then the shot rang out.... that famous shot heard round the world.
#
The British were out to confiscate and/or destroy patriot arms and gunpowder, as they were doing throughout the colonies.
# “When the British began to withdraw back to Boston, things got much worse for them!
# “Armed Americans were swarming in from nearby towns. They would soon outnumber the British 2:1. Although some of the Americans cohered in militia units, a great many fought on their own, taking sniper positions wherever opportunity presented itself. The British retreated nearly annihilated.
#
On a per-shot basis, the Americans inflicted higher casualties than had the British regulars.” #
That is American history. That is our history.
#
Events like this one are the kind that inform the codification of the right to keep and bear arms into the Bill of Rights, (i.e., the Second Amendment). #
Anti-gunners can try to whitewash this all they want, and they do. But the history here speaks for itself, as loud and clear as a musket shot.

High school isn’t easy. It isn’t easy for teenagers and by teenagers I mean teenage girls and by teenage girl I mean ME. I don’t understand why every time I walk down the hallway I get death glares and petty remarks said about me. Most of these people I don’t even know but for some reason these people know me enough to say “I don’t like her”. Every day I walk into school and get these dirty looks I think to myself “what did I do to you”. Is it because I’m to myself and don’t belong to a clique ? Is it because i don’t look like you ? I guess i will never know why people hate
