My 4 year old just pushed my buttons all day today, and yesterday. I try to have all the patience I can possibly muster for him because he's very sensitive, upsets and angers easily, wants to be in control of everything, but I just can't bend over backwards all the time and as much as I love him infinitely, he just wears me out. We are getting him some help, but that's another story. Anyway, after 2 days of him constantly challenging me I just snapped. I yelled at him, I slammed doors like a child and I went and lay on my bed and cried for almost an hour. The kids actually went off and played nicely together the whole time. As much as I felt completely miserable as I cried it was so cathartic. I felt all of my sadness, doubts, guilt and anger just flow out of me. I needed this release and was content to let it flow. Now that I'm up I feel like moving slowly and appreciating each subtle move I make. I feel grateful for the vegetables I'm cutting up for dinner. I feel a fuzzy warmth inside that wasn't there before. I'm enjoying the smell of the coals burning in our bbq outside on the verandah. I'm looking at the mess in my home and I know it will be taken care of eventually and that worrying about it is pointless. I'm grateful for release 💜💜💜

There are at least 1,700 species of "true blue" Australian native 🐝
They come in a variety of colours from black, yellow, red, metallic green or even black with blue polka dots! They can be fat and furry, or sleek and shiny. #nativebees
The smallest one is Cape York's minute Quasihesma bee. It is less than 2mm long. At the opposite end of the scale is the Great Carpenter Bee of the tropical north and northern NSW. It is up to 24 mm long. #beefacts
Native bees are a passion of mine and of important here because they are the pollinators of Australia's unique wildflowers and are a vital part of our Australian bushland. #savethebees
What kind of bees have you seen around your backyard? And where is this backyard of yours?
