  • This week we talked about our Manipura or our solar plexus chakra. Manipura is the home of our strength, will, confidence and courage. If you find your confidence is low or have trouble asserting yourself, you could have a blockage in your solar plexus chakra. Try this practice to help open it up. Take any negative thoughts and turn them into more positive thoughts. Instead of saying, “I suck at drawing.” Try saying, “I’m not as good at drawing as I’d like to be, but I try my best.” By changing our negative self-talk into positive, accepting self-talk, we switch our perspective, giving ourselves grace and accepting that we are always learning and growing. 💛 You can also meditate to clear out your Manipura. Close your eyes and picture the colour yellow, vibrant and clear. Place your hands on your belly and breathe in and out while repeating a mantra that makes you feel strong. If your mind wanders, come back to your breath and your mantra. Try it before a workout, before you have to give a presentation or any other time you want to wake up your powerhouse. 💛
