    I didn't really want to post these pictures today... These are only a few weeks apart and there is HARDLY a difference... There's only a couple pounds of difference...and I KNOW it's not all about weight but even the pictures don't show a significant difference. 
Is this disappointing or unsatisfying? Yes. 
But the important part is what I'm going to do about it. 
I know that I haven't stuck with my nutrition 100%. I know that I've had sleepless nights (yes, that affects weight loss and health). I know that my stress level has been high (that also contributes). I know that my effort has not been 100%. And with all of this... I'm still seeing changes. My body is stronger during these workouts than it was last round. My body composition is different. My energy level is different. 
Now...I'm using these pictures as motivation for more change! Let's see what happens when my nutrition is 100%! Ready to join me on my journey?! Message me and I'll send you all the details!

    When you have to pee, you don't use your willpower to talk yourself out of it, do you?

Hunger is a natural sensation to signal a need, just like those other amazing sensations your body experiences. If you are truly hungry, eat something. Stifling calorie needs through an unnecessary restriction often leads to bingeing later--your body knows what it needs and will voice it using natural hunger cues to ensure you get the calories to maintain.

    MY HEALTHY EATING TRICKS  FOR KIDS .

Most kids are picky. It’s frustrating. It’s annoying. I can totally relate. My older child (4yo) is adventurous in eating. My younger one (2yo) is much harder. The below tips don’t always work but I generally try to stick with them. Even though it’s not a sure cure for all your problems, these makes a difference for sure! .

🍏I don’t force to eat. I try to make sure they don’t snack 1.5 before a meal. If they refuse a meal, I don’t insist. Because if I insist it is a guarantee it won’t be eaten. .
🍏I distract by telling them a story or reading a book. That is  if I feel like they haven’t really eaten much that day. .
🍏We make smoothies together. If I make it on my own there is a 50% chance they won’t drink it. They have to fight for who will press that on and off button of the blender for the smoothie to taste good 😉

🍏I bring cut up veggies (thinly cut) everywhere and offer it first as a snack. When outside it works perfectly. .
🍏If I want them to try something new and suspect they won’t be too enthusiastic about it then I don’t offer it on their plates at their table. I make one huge plate for everyone and we all eat in a random spot of the house (kitchen floor, standing near kitchen counter, picnic blanket in the bedroom). Something exciting for them. .
🍏And probably most important - I eat all the healthy things in front of them and I point out how yummy they are. I also tell them that I didn’t like a certain food at some point but then tried a few times and now I love it. .

🍏I don’t deny them popular unhealthy kids foods. We try to avoid them as much as possible but, generally speaking, I say that everything is ok when you don’t have too much of it. The only thing - we try to always get vegan ice cream instead of regular dairy one (@vanleeuwenicecream is the best). .
🍏Lastly, I keep offering foods they are not fans of frequently. Constant exposure definitely works. .

    💜Galletitas saludables

Estas galletas son excelentes para llevar de snack en carretera o en el avión estas vacaciones.
.
Como no contienen azúcar ni sal añadidos, se las pueden dar desde los 8 meses o una vez que hayan probado todos los ingredientes.
.
Además están muy fáciles de preparar.
.
Ingredientes:
🍘1 taza de harina de avena
🍘1/2 taza de harina de trigo integral
🥄1/2 cdita bicarbonato de sodio
🥄1 cda de canela en polvo
🥚1 huevo
🍌1/2 plátano. .
🥄2 cdas de aceite de oliva
🥄3 cdas de crema de nuez de la india @macadammx .
🥄1 cdita extracto de vainilla .

Procedimiento:
💞Mezclar los ingredientes secos (harinas, bicarbonato, canela)
.
💞Machacar el plátano y mezclar los ingredientes húmedos (resto de ingredientes)
.
💞Incorporar ambas mezclas .
.
💞Formar bolitas y aplastastarlas o usar cortador de galletas de distintas formas.
.
💞 Ponerlas en una charola para hornear.
.
💞Hornear a 150 grados por 12-14 minutos. .
💞Dejar enfriar y disfrutar.
.
.
Quedaron suavecitas y muuuy muuuy ricas. Con el dulzor del plátano es suficiente. Espero que les gusten tanto como a nosotras! .
