    Monday! Start of a new week and some new goals to work on! Updated MFP for my calories and macros for this week - first week in a calorie deficit in comparison to the last few weeks when I've been at 2800 - starting at 84.0kg so will be interesting to see how that changes this week! .
I've got a new book to keep me on track with my goals 😁 I'm going to use it to keep track of how I'm feeling, what's working well, what isn't, things I like, and don't like, and get into a schedule that becomes more routine for meal prep, training, work so that I can stay on track and my routine doesn't get thrown if I don't make it to the supermarket one day or miss a training session 🙈

Feeling good for a Monday - usually I'm dreading the week ahead and recovering from not eating so well over the weekend 😩🙈 which then leaves me feeling yucky and takes a day or 2 to get back "on it" but I'm "on it!" already 😁🙌 .

    Part 2 🔥🔥 Some of these exercises are fairly easy for me but this whole process is about rebuilding myself. Form over function. It’s important to master even the simple movements to maximize strength at any given range of motion. Anyone who is interested in starting calisthenics or developing full body strength will really enjoy this workout 😁

VERTICAL PUSH (shoulders, chest, triceps) 
Lvl 1 - bench dips 3 sets of 10
Lvl 2 - regular dips on parallel bars 1 set of 10
Lvl 3 - Weighted dips on parallel bars 1 set of 8 (+25lbs)
VERTICAL PULL (biceps, lats)
Lvl 1 - eccentric pull ups  3 reps (10 second each rep, focus on lowering yourself down in a slow and controlled manner)
Lvl 2 - regular pull ups 1 set of 10
Lvl 3 - L-sit pull ups (engages core and lats more) 1 sets of 8
Lvl 4 - weighted pull ups 1 set of 6 (+25lbs)
HORIZONTAL PULL (biceps, back) 
Lvl 1 - inverted rows 3 sets of 10
Lvl 2 - elevated inverted rows with box 3 sets of 8
HIP HINGE (glutes, hamstrings)
Lvl 1 - glute bridge 3 sets of 10
Lvl 2 - single leg glute bridges 3 sets of 10 (each leg)
Lvl 3 - back extension 3 sets of 12
CORE
Level 1 - L-sit compressions 3 sets of 10 (move hands farther from hips and closer to feet to make more difficult) 
Level 2 - hanging knee raises 1 set of 10
Level 3 - hanging leg raises 1 set of 10 (makes sure you don’t use any momentum, don’t swing)

    “I didn’t have a choice.” How many of you have said this? I know I have! Many many times! It relieved me of any responsibility so it made me feel ok with the decisions I made. I mean, if it was out of my control then it’s not my “fault” right? Because if it was my fault, well I’d start to feel badly about myself. And let’s face it, that doesn’t  feel good. So believing I didn’t have a choice was a fantastic protective mechanism.

But the truth is, I was giving away my power.

Yes, sometimes the choices we have are shitty. Sometimes... they are UBER shitty! But once I realized that every decision I make... EVERY SINGLE ONE... is a choice, well that’s how I went from a housewife of 8 years who thought she didn’t have a choice, to co-founding Quest, Impact Theory and @womenofimpact!
