    My first post on this new page, and it has to be a very important one. People usually skip leg day, but I grew a massive passion for training my legs. I currently train legs twice a week, and I would train both my hamstrings and quads in both sessions. I’m seeing massive changes to the shape of my legs already. Stay consistent with it! •

    Glute/hamstring Pressdowns : these really hit the glute/hamstring tie in area (where your butt and hamstring meets) to give you that “pop” in yo bootay 👌🏻. The setup : I like to stand on a plate to get the biggest range of motion possible. I place the middle of my foot on the pad and grab on to the handles for stability. 
Keeping your core tight, exhale and press the pad down squeezing your butt and hamstrings and concentrating on pushing thru your heel. Stop just short of fully locking extending your leg. Inhale and slowly return for a 3-4 second negative. Pause at the top to eliminate momentum before beginning the next rep.

    Legs day which is often difficult tor me to recover from if I go too heavy or too fast

So I slowed it right down with a decent rest in between sets. Still felt like Bambi afterwards but really pleased to be able to increase my weights today .
.
A walk down to the harbour with leisurely breakfast of pancakes at my favourite cafe The Union library made me a happy bunny .
