    The death that ensues as a result of cardio is not by any means sexy all the time. We can literally feel like death but feel good as hell all at the same time. .
. Why? BECAUSE WE SUFFERED THROUGH IT AND DIDN'T QUIT! Now, disclaimer for those who do not know me and just started following this journey. I HATE cardio with the most fiery of passions. I despise how I feel while doing it. It isn't as bad as it once was but let me tell you, I'm only a fan because of the end result. It ending 🤣

In all seriousness though it is an extremely important activity to do 3 times a week for a minimum of 20 minutes each time. This will help work you lungs which we all know provide us oxygen. Oxygen is used by our muscles and is needed to function. When we do cardio it increases the amount of oxygen our lungs can hold which is called our VO2 Max. Fancy term for the amount of oxygen with each breath that fills our lungs. The more oxygen we can intake the more that is available for our muscles. This means our muscles can operate without any worry if they are going to have enough of this delicious necessity. .
. So moral of the story is feel like death so our muscle can be full of life. Our lives depend on oxygen consumption anyway. So go live longer folks; the #MVFit way! 🤙🏼

I remember when I took this photo. Looking at it now, the colours are so vivid. (There aren't any filters on this btw). At the time, it was dull. I was depressed. Everything seemed so dull to me. I couldn't feel a lot of emotions. I wasn't happy, I wasn't sad. I was numb. It hurt me more that I couldn't feel anything. I was so good at forcing emotions, but inside I couldn't feel anything.

That often comes with depression. Sometimes you don't have a reason for feeling depressed. And that's ok. Sometimes you don't understand what you're feeling or why. It took me a long time to understand this- it's ok to feel that way. It's ok not to be ok. It's so important to remember that. •
I did have a reason for my depression, and I think I'm going to open up about that a little in my next post.

Just like you expect that they are busy... Because they have a job and a life and a schedule - they should think the same of you.

If you cold call someone and then spend 10 min trying to shove your pitch down their throat they are thinking “this guy is an amateur who doesn’t have any really clients If he has all this time to talk to me right now”.

They need to think “I got the best guy on the phone who might be able to help me fix xyz, I want to schedule a time to discuss”. Then send a calendar invite. ALWAYS.

It’s all about perception. And respect. People want to do business with the BEST. And when you call solely to introduce yourself, let them know why you wanted to reach out, and ask them to schedule a time you will see your efforts 100x.
