  • Dalí Atomicus Ok, so this one has a lot of favorites and a lot of inspiration points. This is an unedited photograph of Salvador Dalí shot by his close friend and renowned photographer, Philippe Halsman. This ticks the favorite photographer, favorite fine artist, and favorite photograph boxes in my catalogue of influences! The synergy of two creative forces uniting to make a captivating and exploratory body of work is such a rad and powerful concept. But, this photo was much more than just these two men. You have to give credit to Halsman’s wife and daughter who were chucking buckets of water and cats into the frame to get this shot. It took them 26 takes to get it right…. poor cats! 🙀🙀🙀
