    4. Freaks - is the fourth track off my album “9 Lives”. Freaks represents my desire to want to share my life with people I can relate to and that understand me. I have never really fit in any where and have had zero support or acknowledgement from the Australian music scene. I’ve always felt that I’m on a completely different level and really connected with people from the USA, which then lead me to negative gain, who I clicked with instantly.
The inspiration behind the style of the vocals are from the TV show The Mighty Boosh from the episode Journey to the Centre of Punk.
Footage from SXSW, shot my Christian K. Reed, edited by me.

I have loved Ms Marla Gibbs since The Jeffersons but little did i Know what a hero she is for our people and to-one of our communities. Read on To find out why ! @hollywood_ric with @get_repost

#VintageStyle | Before Nipsey Hussle was doing his thing on Slauson Avenue by reinvesting in his community, actress Marla Gibbs was doing her thing in the Crenshaw/Leimert Park area by reinvesting in her community. In 1990 she bought the 1,000 seat Art Deco Theater for $3 million dollars. Gibbs intended to rehabilitate the entire area starting with its most visible landmark -- the Art Deco Theater. After purchasing the property she renamed it the Vision Theatre Complex and dreamed of using it to host music events, talent shows, poetry readings, book signings and town hall meetings for the community. But Gibbs' purchase of the theater came at one of the worst times in Los Angeles history -- and that's because two years after buying the theater, the L.A. riots occurred. For six whole days South Central L.A. burned. And although Gibbs' theater was spared from destruction, the surrounding area was not. It would take years for South Central to rally back from the devastation (some areas never came back). Gibbs struggled to keep the theater open but eventually lost the property in 1997. Although things didn't work out the way Marla Gibbs hoped they would, shout out to that Queen for at least trying! 🙌🏾 | Fun Facts: Some of the scenes from the film "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate" were filmed at Marla Gibbs' Vision Theatre. | c. 1990s.

On this day 93 years ago Princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary of York was born via caesarian section at 17 Bruton Street, Mayfair, England, UK at her maternal grandparents home in London at 2:30, April 21, 1926. She was the third grandchild and first granddaughter of the reigning monarch George V, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Emperor of India and third in line of successsion behind her Uncle David then known as Edward, Prince of Wales and her father then Albert, Duke of York. There was little fanfare as it was expected her uncle would have issue and she would have a younger brother and she'd live her life out as a minor member of the House of Windsor. Today as Her Majesty Elizabeth the Second, By the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Her Other Realms and Terrorities, Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith is the longest reigning and lived British Monarch and the longest reigning Queen Regnant in history. God Save The Queen! @theroyalfamily #RoyalFamily #britishmonarchy #HerMajesty #TheQueen #QueenElizabeth #QueenElizabethII #ElizabethRegina #Elizabeththegreat #EIIR #QEII #QE2 #Icon #legend #gayicon #queenoftheworld #queen
