    Do any of you feel frustrated when you find yourself feeling hungry too soon after you ate your last meal?

Honestly, me too but shaming ourselves about our hunger is BOGUS!! No external force knows better than you when you need to eat and what you need to eat. We are born with an understanding of our body's signals and therefor understand what to eat, when to eat, and how much to eat. It's only as we get older and get inundated with messages from the diet industry that we start trying to ignore our natural signals start to follow external rules about food....

Each day in our lives is filled with a variety of factors which inform our hunger levels. When you notice you need to go to the bathroom, do you guilt or shame yourself that you went too recently? No! We get a signal from our body and we respond. Hunger works the same way.

Let's focus on tuning in and listening to our bodies! Did you know that by the time you are feeling hunger pangs you have missed a bunch of other signals from your body it's time for nourishment?

Give listening to your body's signals a shot and tell me about how it felt!

    I woke up feeling lean this morning (lean for me) so i snapped this pic before i weighed in. Today i am officially 🎉🎉40 lbs down 🎉🎉 cue fireworks! The picture on the right is from April 10th, 2019 and on the left July 18th, 2019. I’m starting to see some difference in my belly which feels AMAZING! I try to always have a mini celebration for every milestone, and keep on moving. That’s 40 lbs I’ll never see again 🙌🏼🙌🏼

    🍫 CHOC PROTEIN BALLS 2.0 RECIPE
.
INGREDIENTS 🍫 * 1/2 cup dates
* 1/2 cup water
* 1 cup raw almonds
* 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
* 2 tablespoons flax/linseed meal
* 1 1/2 scoops vanilla/choc protein powder
* 3 tablespoons cacao powder
* 3 tablespoons hemp seeds
* Extra desiccated coconut, for rolling
.
1. Cook dates in water for 10 minutes
2. Blend all but hemp seeds in a food processor until consistency starts to stick together. add a little more water if mixture is still too dry
3. Wet hands a little and roll mixture into balls
4. Roll balls into extra coconut and hemp seeds

They want to lose fat but have difficulty saying “no.”

Often times they mentally justify it in saying they’re “flexible dieting.”

But flexible dieting doesn’t mean “eat junk and lose fat.” It means “don’t feel guilty for having a treat - but you still have to be wicked consistent to make significant, lasting changes.”
-
For them, practicing self control and saying “no” more often might help them achieve their goal.
-
Other people struggle with food anxiety.
-
They get anxious at the thought of going out to eat at a restaurant because they don’t want to “ruin their progress.”
-
They feel bad for having a slice of cake at their own birthday party.
-
They, logically, know it sounds silly and they often give their friends/family/clients amazing nutrition advice that promotes a more flexible approach...but they struggle with it themselves.
-
For them, saying “yes” more often and having a treat might help them achieve their goals.
-
Progress is not only measured in weight loss or fat loss or measurements or numbers or quantifiable data.
-
Progress is also measured in mental, emotional, and behavioral changes.
-
And, candidly, if you don’t improve your mindset first, any physical changes/improvements are going to be short-lived.
-
Because sustainable results only happen with a sustainable mindset.
