    Yeah... The busiest day is done. Started cooking at 8am, finished at 7pm. Cleaning up took 2 hours thereafter!!! Now waiting anxiously for the reviews... 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Time to take a gd break and sleep with no alarm in the morning... Woohoo!!!! Wish everyone a YUMMILIOUS porky year... Oink oink...     So there is an advantage when you have a foodie chef as a boyfriend... Between char siew and roast pork, i am definitely a char siew girl... But bf is the latter. 
This CNY we put homemade roast pork on the menu and someone ordered! Love the crackling on top and the succulent just-done meat and we get to choose our own meat so we made sure its not too fatty!!! Shiok!!!

    Taking a leaf from @eatseerepeat to bring yummy food to famous places!

As an amateur, I'm not traveling great distances. Just bringing some delicious Herbal Crystal Buns from YY HK Food to Singapore's beautiful Bishan Park.

The bun skin is made of glutinous flour and a herb Paederia Foetida (Chinese Fever Vine). Like The Thai Herb Cha Om, this is a stinky herb when raw. But once cooked, the smell will be gone.
.
Also, the green herb will turn black when cooked to give this crystal bun its classy black appearance. Filling is a delicious fragrant mixture of mushrooms, turnip and dried shrimps! Keen to try? 😋
