I was asked, if I do Push / Pull Days. Answer is yes. A push workout contracts your muscles when weight is being pushed away from your body, meaning the work is done when the muscle contracts as you push. So, like a push up. A pull workout is exactly the opposite function, like a #pullup. What’s funny is I really love push only days and pull only days. I would see the most gains from doing that, but after my shoulder injury...I had to switch it up. My fear was over training of a muscle group. So I had to start enjoying the benefits of push / pull days. Why? ✅Creates muscle balance – dividing our muscles into different days can lead to imbalance. The most common is overworking our chest versus our back creating a hunch in the shoulders and upper back😬. With a simple pushing and pulling workout we create a more balanced physique. ✅Also, promotes injury prevention – like is said earlier, overtraining major muscle groups are a common way to injure yourself, which I can’t do anymore. Lol. Balancing push and pull moves will help you not to overwork and stress your muscles and give you plenty of recovery time between workouts. #hunger4fitness #bodybuilding #workouttips #fitspo #personaltrainer #meworkingout #mymotivation #gymrat #loveworkingout #igfitness

My dad, who is a very smart man and my role model(plus he us single handedly the reason I became the person I am today) , has always said.... "You know what the difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is? About 2 weeks." Now I don't know about the haircut thing because my barber is awesome, me and the boys been going to her for quit some time now..... but the meaning of this phrase is so much deeper than a haircut. Life is all about perspective. Sometimes bad things will happen, yet a few weeks later we have adapted and grew from it. That's one of the most important things in life. GROWTH. Now bad things still suck, don't get me wrong. However there is two ways to handle it.
1. Analyze the situation. Figure out why it happened. Adjust your life or thoughts to make a change. Grow from it. Make the necessary changes to ensure it doesn't happen again.
2. Dwell on it and let it determine who you are the rest of your life. Now, I'm not telling you how to live your life, but I can speak from experience. The second option does not help. Always being bitter over something that happen can consume you. I've been there. I have grown and now learned to analyze everything and let go of the bad. My life is now one of looking for the best of every situation. Some things happen for us to learn. Happy Thursday and Much Love Fammo.

Motivation is what gets you started, habit is what keeps you going...and results are what make you proud. Never give up! 💪😊
