    Hit another pb today👌only 55kg but it's over my body weight so chuffed to bits. 
It's always better when you have someone spotting and giving you teaching points- I.e chin forward. @instonegram

Never underestimate how one small difference in form can change the muscles used. 
By having your chin up, the pressure is increased significantly in your cervical spine especially under a heavy load. Best position is having your chin tucked in slightly. 
Most trainers look at the positioning of the lower back and overlook the neck.  Now I've got my wisdom of the day out - it's definitely nap time

    QUÉ COMER ANTES DEL CARDIO❓ ES BUENO PRACTICAR CARDIO EN AYUNAS❓... La respuesta es: Depende.

Hoy acompañé a mi novia Angie a hacer 2 clases de Fit Combat seguidas... ella es instructora certificada de Fit Combat, que es una disciplina de combate tipo cardio de alta intensidad en clases grupales; ella está acostumbrada a hacer hasta 3 y 4 clases diarias (yo me estoy muriendo después de hacer sólo una jajaja).

Las clases fueron en @zonefitgym_ y luego en @sprintfitnessclub , dos excelentes gimnasios en la ciudad de Barranquilla - recomendados 👍

En el cardio de baja intensidad (caminar, dar un paseo, etc.) el requerimiento calórico es menor, por lo que el cuerpo si podrá tomar esas calorías de la grasa, y para ello es mejor practicarlo en ayunas (si es en la mañana) o por lo menos 2 horas después de la última ingesta de comida.

Por el contrario, el cardio de alta intensidad utiliza muchas calorías de manera muy rápida, por lo que no pueden ser tomadas en ese momento a partir de la grasa acumulada; debido a esto debemos darle carbohidratos al cuerpo antes de practicarlo para evitar la utilización de tejido muscular como energía; la quema de grasa se produce en las horas post-entrenamiento por efecto de la aceleración del metabolismo, aquí es donde debemos evitar los carbohidratos, haciendo que el cuerpo utilice las reservas de grasa para recuperación.

    Just me sucking at Bulgarian split squats. Balance is hard, staying straight up and down is hard (I want to naturally lean forward and my quads were on fire) eventually I’ll add more weight when I’m more comfortable doing these. 😂

    The girls literally begged me to go to the gym this morning,just so they can go to the Kid’s Club at @ChuzeFitness. This is seriously not your average gym childcare, it has everything to keep your kid entertained-- a basketball court, video games, a cinema and a variety of toys. Nati threw a full-blown tantrum when it was time to leave so we’ll take that as a sign that she had a good time, plus it’s the perfect excuse to get me back into the gym more often. #AD #ChuzeFitness #ChuzeFitnessChulaVista #CHUZEfamily
