Today March 19th marks the anniversary of the death of legendary guitarist Mr. RANDY RHOADS back in 1982. It's been 37 years since Randy Rhoads' brilliant light was extinguished in a tragic plane crash in Florida. Gone far too soon at the age of 25, Rhoads will be forever influential to hard rock and metal guitarists for his early work with Quiet Riot and most notably his work on Ozzy Osbourne's first two solo LPs, "Blizzard Of Ozz" and "Diary Of Madman" have proven to be sacred musical statements that sound as impressive now as when they were released and to this day set a benchmark for musicians that have followed. Randall William "Randy" Rhoads born December 6, 1956 d. March 19, 1982 was an American heavy metal guitarist. A devoted student of classical guitar, Rhoads combined his classical music influences with his own heavy metal style. And our legendary guitar solo of the day is the solo performed in "CRAZY TRAIN" by the legend himself. "Crazy Train" is the first single from British heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne's debut solo album, Blizzard of Ozz, released in 1980. . The song was written by Osbourne, Randy Rhoads and Bob Daisley. Praised for his use of the full minor scale for the song’s main riff, it’s no wonder Randy’s guitar work on “Crazy Train” is still so critically acclaimed; it’s a winning studio performance from a genius that knew how to walk the fine line between technique and feeling, and a testament to the legacy he crafted in such a short period of time. R.I.P Randy. Gone but not forgotten. 🎸💔

A lot of you were really close I’m guessing what my new guitar is on my story yesterday! It’s an American Elite Fender Telecaster and I love it 🎸. ⚡️ Signal chain for lead guitar is: Tele > Ibanez ts mini and Cornertstone sparkle stacked > Keeley Cavers for reverb and delay > Supro statesman > Suhr Reactive Load IR... hope you enjoy! 🖖🏼

It's an honor to celebrate the Birthday of one of jazz idols the great legendary guitarist Mr. GEORGE BENSON Born March 22, 1943 is an American musician, guitarist, singer and songwriter. Simply one of the greatest guitarists in jazz history, George Benson is an amazingly versatile musician, whose adept skills find him crossing easily between straight-ahead jazz, smooth jazz and contemporary R&B. Blessed with supreme test, a beautiful, rounded guitar tone, terrific speed, a marvelous sense of logic in building solos, and always, an unquenchable urge to swing. Benson's inspirations may have been Hank Garland, Charlie Christian, and Wes Montgomery, but his style is completely his own. Benson uses a rest stroke picking technique similar to that of Gypsy Jazz players such as Django Reinhardt, with Octave style. His album " Breezin' " was certified triple platinum, hitting no.1 on the Billboard album chart in 1976. Benson won 10 Grammy Awards. He has received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He worked with many great musicians such as Earl Klugh, AL Jarreau, Chet Atkins and many more. The discography of George Benson consists of thirty-six studio albums and five live albums such as "Give Me The Night" in 1980, "In Your Eyes" in 1983, "Absolute Benson" in 2000, "Give It Up" in 2006, "Guitar Man" in 2011, and many more. And our legendary guitar solo of the day is the solo performed in "DEEPER THAN YOU THINK". "Deeper Than You Think" is a song by George Benson and appears on the album Absolute Benson (2000). It was written by the great jazz pianist Mr. Joe Sample. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAZZ GUITAR GOD. 🎸🎂
