This PRS came in with a big chip in the paint in a weird spot: the top horn under the strap button took a serious blow (I guess) leaving a large area of exposed wood. It’s all good now.

The inlay on this extraordinary @dickertguitars neck-through #telecaster seems appropriate for Hamilton right now...

Well it might be a bit crude but spool clamps are one way to close the box. Rubber bands, string, bike inner tube, go bar deck, cam clamps. I don’t build enough to know which is best, but so far so good!

Up next is this incredibly cool looking #fender partscaster guitar that needed a setup and a couple of string trees installed. A mix of parts from a 70s and 80s #telecaster with a #gibson style tune-o-magic bridge, she looks awesome. Unfortunately the string action is way too high, even with the bridge all the way down to the deck, so the neck will have to come off for a shim. Also, I noticed about a 1/16th inch gap between the butt of the neck and the neck pocket, so I’m gonna have to try and cut some maple veneer to just the right size to fill that gap. Fortunately, I did get the truss rod turning after scraping some crud out, so that’s a positive. Definitely have my work cut out for me getting this to play perfectly, but hey, that’s the fun, right? Also managed to find matching gold string trees, so when it’s done it’s gonna look amazing and play even better. *

Another pedalboard wire up and layout. Super stoked with how it turned out. Loving the new Square Plugs and Mogami cable we have in stock. Making custom patch cables is therapeutic for me, and having a low profile soldered end ensures durability and sonic fidelity for the customer. Check my story for before and after pics.
