Change is inevitable - sometimes its for the best.

Once I went to take guitar lessons when I was around 17 I think, just started driving.. well I used to be a pretty hot headed dude.. I went to take my first guitar lesson and I sat there for like 40 minutes after driving 45 minutes to get there.. I finally go in there to set down and I see this hot chick walk in and shes like " oh i was today at this time ".. The dude gave me some shit tab and told me my next lesson was free.. so i just laughed like yeah, fuck you man. I went back the next week with my strat wanting to learn some metal, hahaha! Back then was not really any internet source for guitars and stuff like today.. the only source I had was guitar magazines at the local grocery store. So, I set down and hes like You wanna learn some metal, how about megadeth? Im thinking to myself at this point we're not going to get along very well, but sure dude. All he did was give me a tab of a short section and that was it.. I never went back because I was pissed at this guy by now. How could someone like this work for a musical organization paying so much a month and not get anything out of it? Needless to say I never learned any megadeth at all ;D

It's not that I was pissed at how shitty he was - it was just having higher hopes in education and wanting to learn something at a better pace. It wasn't long after that high speed internet came around and I could learn anything I wanted very quickly without paying 100$+ a month and not having to drive that damn far. It's really amazing how far it has come and how kids nowadays can learn so quickly.. but learning technique isn't the same as developing the want to do something sortve correctly or dedication. Setting for hours to do something right .. Art is such  a variety of colors and no one really knows the true meaning, because art can be everything and anything, there are no rules.. Change.
