Not just any old bitch, this bitch. It’s actually not that impressive but seeing as I never went through that cardio phase when I first started going to the gym and have never really properly ran (unless I absolutely had to during cross country in PE) am pretty pleased about it. I’ve always been an okay sprinter but running for longer than 5 minutes is an achievement for me.

Not gunna lie, I can’t really be bothered with the bodybuilding part of my workouts anymore. I find it a bit of a drag and kinda boring, I still enjoy training legs but find myself just wanting to skip to the end a lot. I think doing new things and working on stuff I’m not that good at is the challenge I need to keep myself interested. Was worried I wouldn’t be able to motivate myself to get to the gym this morning but my body naturally woke up at 5am and I was ready to goooo (also think I was a bit nervous about running lol). Hope u guys have a good day XX I will be needing a nap in precisely 3 hours so that should be fun xx

    You would never of guessed by these pics that I was having one of the really shitty days yesterday would you?

Pictures never tell the full story.
Yesterday I must of cried at least 6 times, the good and bad sides of prep and life’s stresses.
I actually cried in the middle of the gym during a workout because I didn’t like how my session was going on top of many other factors
.
Body is tired, everything feels tight, shoulder was playing up again, so so many things.
So I took a step back, cancelled my clients for the rest of the day because my body needed to chill and rest!
I ate my food and had a bath and I felt so much better
.
Prep is hard but you also need to listen to your body, rest day on Thursday bar my classes at the gym
.
Stress is hard to avoid but find ways around it, find ways to let it effect you less, make sure you take time for YOURSELF, it’s not being selfish it’s called looking after YOURSELF, your mentality and your body and surround yourself with people who will listen to you, help you but most importantly SUPPORT you and let you know it’s okay to feel like this, it’s normal and things will always get better

    This was so crazy— EXACTLY as we were leaving the beautiful wedding we attended yesterday, it started pouring rain! @rpwells and I were stoked because it had been so sunny and hot and the rain felt SO GOOD.😁 HOW WAS YOUR WEEKEND!? I am a definite fan of the mindset “a Sunday well spent brings a week of content” — whether that means completely resting and relaxing or doing errands and prepping for the week ahead, the most important piece of setting yourself up for success (and getting rid of the “Sunday scaries”) is going into Monday with a POSITIVE mindset!
