    The most dangerous excuses are true. 
The reason they keep winning out over your goals & intentions might be because you realize they are true so you don’t fight against them. You equate “true” and “right”.
Here’s a super common example: You’re not going to get that workout in because it’s been a crazy day & you’re completely exhausted.
Yup, the day was crazy. 
Yup, you’re exhausted.
Because those things are true, you feel justified and validated in your choice to skip the workout. Or maybe you pledged to eat better today but you’re feeling really sad & since a cookie will cheer you up, you sit down to 3 handfuls of cookies.
It’s true: you’re sad. You love cookies, so they cheer you up a little.
Since those things are true, the cookies are now validated and you commence eating them.
The behavior makes sense to you. You’ve used an argument that not only makes sense, but gives you what you want in the moment.
It doesn’t, however, give you what you want in the long term or consider the entire truth of the situation, choice and consequences.
In the case of skipping a workout because you’re tired, when you ask yourself what else is true, you might recognize that you’ll feel more energy after a workout. You might realize that working out will help you sleep better tonight so you can be more rested tomorrow. Or that increasing your fitness increases your energy long term so you don’t continue to feel like you’re at the mercy of your fatigue.
When you’re debating the cookies because you’re sad & it’s been a crazy day, you might realize that not making progress towards your goals makes you feel really sad, therefore choosing the cookies will ultimately make you more sad than taking great care of yourself. In fact, taking great care of yourself and making quality food choices improves your mood & confidence. Food is the solution to hunger, not the solution to stress.

Don’t worry, this isn’t going to be a “make a perfect morning routine” post. In fact, I think having a step by step routine is pretty far fetched. Instead, I encourage you to just do something every morning for yourself. Something to help you get grounded, set intentions for the day, and allow you to go forth with a clear head.

You don’t have to do the same thing every single day, trust me I don’t! But there are a few staple things that I like to incorporate and rotate through depending on what my body and my mind need that morning.

Some of my favorite things to add into my mornings:
☀️Make my bed
☀️COFFEEEEE
☀️Do my make up/freshen up for the day
☀️Organize my planner
☀️Have a good breakfast
.
I don’t do these all every single day (except for make my bed- that is a must!), but I try to do at least 1 or 2 of them, no matter where I am or what I have going on that day! It helps me get into flow and have a more productive day👏🏼

    This is why I am a coach. These are the moments that make all of the sacrifices it took to get here worthwhile. •
Aside from showing up at 5:30am every day for class, @alanamaui has been training with me individually for about 7 months. Her stunning progress is a testament to her dedication, consistency and determination. Yesterday, she got her first chest-to-bar pull up when just a few months ago, she didn’t have any kind of pull ups at all. •
Talent is meaningless without hard work. The best workout program in the world is ineffective without consistency. A goal is just a dream if there is no persistence. The people who I admire the most are the ones who consistently show me their hard work and persistence. •
It gives me such a deep joy to witness someone realizing they can do something they never thought possible, after having seen them work their asses off for it. This is the shit that sets my soul on fire. •

Lifting weights can make you big & bulky? More like it gives you curves in the right places🐫

I was always quite a straight up/ down kinda shape, no waist, flat ass.....(I used to do alot of long distance running) and then I starting lifting🏋️‍♀️ which completely changed my shape, gave me shoulders which made my waist look smaller...........oh and a slight tan which always helps huh😏😂 Point is....don't be scared to lift weights ladies. Your not suddenly going to grow muscles out your ears.....but it will give you shape, curves & ultimately give you confidence you may of not had before to show it off.....you deserve too, be proud😍

So my fringe game has got better silver clouds and all that 👐🏻⠀

Weightloss sometimes can be viewed as a game. It’s a game of pure willpower and at most points self discipline.⠀
⠀
You have to be able to have a level of self control if you are on a weightloss journey. It’s crap at times 💯 Walking past your favourite snacks in the supermarket breaking out into sweats praying that your favourite snacks don’t catch your eye. It’s tough and can be damned hard.⠀
⠀
I used to literally not even go down the crisps lane because at times I thought I would burst into tears. I was completely incapable of being able to moderate the amount of crisps I could eat so I just wouldn’t buy them until I learnt.⠀
⠀
How many of us buy a multi pack and say I will have one a day? Then tan the whole lot in that day. I did it so many times 😂⠀
⠀
I then learnt not to put myself in a path of temptation because I just wasn’t strong enough at points to control it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that so many of us battle with it.⠀
⠀
When I then learnt to mentally be strong enough to moderate I would then allow myself single packs. Even NOW I still won’t buy multi packs of anything high in fat to have in my house because I know I just won’t moderate it. I am completely fine with that. ⠀
⠀
I developed my own coping mechanism. Everyone has different ways you just need to find your own and what works for you. There is absolutely no shame in it.⠀

Never let a stumble in the road be the end of your journey. You all deserve to feel beautiful.⠀

    This past weekend marked an important step in my life. For those who are closest to me, you know how much sh*t I had to deal with to get here. So many bumps along the way, but in the end, it was all worth it.

This year has already brought many significant milestones. I can't help but smile to see what else is in store. Not only did I get to celebrate with @taugata, but I got to play his muse in the streets of Vegas. I haven't stood in front of the camera in a while but I have to say that it was a ton of fun. An awesome way to cap off such a great weekend by using photography as a creative outlet.
