Here are 7 tips to stay on track for the weekends.

For many people it is easy to stay on track during the week, but when the weekend comes around you completely fall off the bandwagon.

Here are 7 tips to help you! 🙅🏼‍♀️

1️⃣ drink lots of water 💧. Just because it’s the weekend doesn’t mean you don’t need to put your water intake on hold. If you are going out carry a bottle with you.

2️⃣ don’t leave the house hungry. When you leave on an empty stomach anything looks appealing and you’re most likely going to indulge.

3️⃣ incorporate physical activity. Get a workout in, take the dog for a walk, or just go for a walk, run, bike ride, or a hike.

4️⃣ make smart decisions while eating out. Browse the restaurant menu beforehand so you can plan out a balanced meal.

5️⃣ don’t skip meals. Whether you are doing it to “save calories” or intentionally, or get busy an forget. Skipping meals can lead you to over-indulging.

6️⃣ enjoy social events, and the foods you enjoy. Just be mindful of your portion sizes and alcohol consumption.

7️⃣ bring snacks with you, that way you are prepared to stay on track if you’re gone for more than a few hours.

    Heck yes it is!!! Never in a million years did I think I was capable of squatting comfortably, let alone with a 115# barbell on my back! Like, who’s life is this? Oh yeah, it’s mine. My new life where, I push my limits, constantly listen to the advice I’m given, and grow! 🏋🏼‍♀️ Thank you Carly and Julie for helping me this morning. I love the advice and help you give me since, I can’t see what I’m doing wrong. 🤪

My new life where, I push my limits, constantly listen to the advice I’m given, and grow! 🏋🏼‍♀️ Thank you Carly and Julie for helping me this morning. I love the advice and help you give me since, I can’t see what I’m doing wrong. 🤪

    Abs are made from what you put in your mouth. 
Eating is your best ab exercise!

You can do 1000 crunches a day. 1000 sit ups a day. Plank until your face turns blue but if you aren’t eating to lower your body fat (unless you naturally have low body fat in abdominal area. Few do have this) then your abs won’t show!

Lowering body fat reveals your abs. 
Planks strengthen your core!

And crunches and sit-ups define the core. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

    “I wish I had the motivation”... I hear this phrase ALL the time and this is honestly just a friendly reminder that “motivation” is a fleeting feeling, it is NOT reliable. I honestly believe motivation has tricked people out of pursuing their goals and working towards them. So many people believe that if they’re meant to do something, they’ll feel “motivated” all the time to do so. Friends, that is a LIE. Yeah, sure, our random spurts of motivation may encourage us to do something worthwhile here and there but it will never sustain us in the long run. Dedication, commitment, and doing what we said we would long after we “felt like it” is what will get us to our goals. Stop waiting to “feel like it”. Know that if it’s worth having, it’ll take hard work. I wake up every morning purpose-driven, I know what I want and I know what it takes to get it, I don’t always want to put in the effort but I feel so good after I do. Feelings follow actions 💪🏻 take action! 
Oh, and shout out to @onehealthybod for kicking my butt this morning 🔥
