Close ups of my flowers and porch decor! Keeping it simple this year, but I may add more next year. Isn’t coral such a happy pretty color?!?! 🥰 One of my favorites for sure. I really need to power wash and paint my porch, so please ignore all the gross stuff on it, but we’re getting there. Baby steps!
Just a few details on my decor: my flower pots, rocking chairs, lantern and table are all reused items! The the large pots used to be mustard yellow and we brought them with us from when we lived in Orlando. I found a little calico cream paint sample in my shed and watered it down to white wash these pots with. I didn’t sand them afterwards to give it a weathered look because I figured I could leave the weathering to, well, the weather. 😉😁 Our rocking chairs and table we also bought second hand, and painted/refinished them last year. The lantern was given to me because it was originally an ugly weird black and brown speckled, and the previous owner didn’t want it. A little leftover mat black spray paint fixed that, and now all I need is a mosquito repellent candle to go inside it! Last but not least I dug my cream flower pot out of storage to add some color to the table and wha-la!
I did have to buy a few things however, but conveniently found the correct color and style outdoor pillows, wreath, and whimsical doormat @target ! Don’t you just love spring?! Excepting the horrible allergies I get, I’m always so happy when it warms up and everything comes back to life. ☺️
