    When you practice the balancing tripod transition as recovery because you didn’t realize the (literal) rail was actually quite slanted 🤣

🍃 If you already spend time outdoors hiking, running or just wandering around, having some @movnat technique repertoire allows you to have fun along the way .
💪 It’s not training because it feels like play, but it’s training because the @naturalmovement techniques have been put together to get the maximum benefits in terms of health and physical capabilities.

👍🏼 And of course, the more you practice, the more capable you become, and the more opportunities you can see 😁

    I don’t post too much about food or what I eat 🤷🏻‍♀️ cuz it’s not that exciting lol 🤦🏽‍♀️ Here’s a glimpse.. (1) 6 egg whites (2) chicken n rice (3) ground turkey n rice (4) oatmeal and some snacks!! After I did my shows last year I thought for sure I would fall off track and gain my weight back, yeah I have gained a lil however I have no desire to eat other foods then what I eat on a daily!! My body doesn’t crave it!! Crazy right 🙄! I’ve gained 13 lbs since September (feels like 20) (current131) my body fat is still cool at 17% 🙌🏻😊

    Those last 10 pounds you’re stressing about losing?

That’s strength, beauty, and all the wonderful experiences of life. ✨It’s enjoying a night out with your significant other.
✨It’s getting the dessert after dinner with friends while you laugh and spend that extra time together.
✨ It’s sharing stories over a glass of wine with your mom.

30 years from now you won’t regret not being smaller. You’ll regret the experiences you missed out on for a few pounds.

Chances are there will be times where you are more dialed in and making more sacrifices, saying no to things. That’s okay too. You don’t have to say yes to everything and if you don’t feel like drinking or having that dessert, don’t! But you don’t need to spend 95% of your life not experiencing it solely to lose a few pounds.

I not only say this for you, but for me. I’m human too and still have to remind myself of this as well.

Live your life and do what makes you feel good, whether that’s having the drink (or not), opting for the dessert (or not). Health encompasses more than just weight. It’s your mindset, connection with others, experiences, mood, energy, and so much more...keep that in mind. 💗

I’m currently taking a deload week for few different reasons - ⁣
⁣
Our body will tell us when it needs break, after months of training there will be a point where we getting diminishing returns.  We are putting in so much but we don’t quite get the same results as we used to. This is a sign that you probably need a break.  Your central nervous system is overloaded and those one day rest days are just not enough anymore to recover. ⁣
⁣
Here are more signs of needing a deload week - ⁣ ⁃	Strength stays the same or downgrades⁣ ⁃	Motivation levels are low⁣ ⁃	Appetite is low ⁣ ⁃	Feeling like you not getting enough sleep, always need more.⁣ ⁃	Overall fatigue during the day⁣

These would be the main reasons to look out for. ⁣

Deload will bring many benefits into our training. Overall energy will be much better, you will be getting stronger, recovery capability will be much more effective. Overall progression will be going forward again. ⁣

    Last night. Today I’m staying to feel it 😬
🏋🏼‍♀️Begin with 5-8 minutes cardio warmup followed by ballistic stretching. Do 3 sets of each exercise with little to no rest in between 👉🏼 Keep your weight high enough that the struggle is REAL within the last 3-5 reps. I’ll usually do drop sets, but to keep things simple here, do 15-20 reps of each (unless otherwise specified) 
1️⃣Banded sissy squats (add weight for 2nd & 3rd set)
2️⃣Cable pistol squats 
3️⃣Hamstring curls
4️⃣Cable glute kickbacks (15x neutral, 15x curtsy..no rest in between..Cable abduction 15x & adduction 15x.. NO REST during this 4 step set!!) 5️⃣Leg press (15x sumo, 15x hip distance, 15x chair squat..NO REST during this 3 step set)
6️⃣Weighted travelling curtsy lunges for 3 min. 
Hydrate throughout your workout get your protein & BCAA’s in within an hour post-workout! 😀🙌🏼🏋🏼‍♀️ #yougotthis #bt360 #bodytuner360

If you’ve followed my journey the last two years you know I’ve had the hardest time feeling “ready” for a marathon again. Mentally & physically.
••
Recently I added my name to the waitlist of the Traverse City Bayshore Marathon with 30 people ahead of me. I said “if it’s my time, it’ll happen.” .
••
Friday, randomly, I got an email that they were having a contest where you could submit a story for a free race entry. .
••
This part of town has meant a lot to me and my family my entire life.  Recently, my Grumps passed away in the marathon sponsors hospital. Grumps was always so proud of me when I ran a marathon, he would tell the whole town.  The last time I saw him, he even asked “when’s your next race”.
••
I prayed all weekend, if it was my time, It would happen.
••
Tuesday morning, without even knowing what was happening, my mom sent me a picture of me and Grumps. And an hour later, I won the contest. .
••
It’s my time. .
••
So one month from today, I’ll line up for my 5th marathon. For Grumps.
