    Summer time weather calls for matcha and sesame soft serve from @mrmatcha. If you have a sweet tooth, opt for the sesame. Otherwise, matcha is the way to go IMO. Plenty of semi shaded outdoor seating, with string lights at night. Free WiFi as well.

    Tips for Stuffed Peppers:
1. Stretch your protein by adding more veggies! Beans, riced cauliflower and corn are all great low carb options. 
2. Pre-bake your peppers for 10 minutes while you’re frying up the stuffing mix.
3. Keep it light by subbing Greek yogurt instead of sour cream on top!
4. Buy pre-made pico de gayo and guacamole to speed up food prep time and clean up.

    What a hidden gem at @samsfishcamp in Huntington Beach! Located off PCH there is plenty of parking, not to mention indoor and half outdoor seating. I was pleasantly surprised by my scallop salad with bleu cheese dressing and a side of cheesy grits! Definitely a new favorite place @surfcityusa.

    Mushroom Broccoli Spinach Fusilli ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Pasta (500g).
- ½ broccoli or cauliflower;
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms;
- 1 cup spinach;
- ½ medium onion chopped;
- Sea salt;
- 1 tablespoons olive oil;
- 200 ml de heavy whipped cream;
- Parmesan cheese to taste.

1) Bring a large pot of water to boil and cook pasta (according to package instructions) and broccoli. 
2) Gently wash mushrooms to remove any dirt. Slice each mushroom into about 4 pieces.
3) Heat oil over medium heat in large pan, add onions and sauté until golden brown. Add the fresh mushroom, then the spinach. Adjust the salt and add the heavy whipped cream. 
4) Add the sauce to the cooked pasta and brocolli. Top with additional salt, pepper, and parmesan.
