    I had serious issues in my late teens into my early 20's. I yoyo-ed from a size 6 to a size 16. My physical and mental health took a serious bashing. I know from first hand experience that a size 10 doesn't make you happy. However feeding your body correctly has a HUGE impact on your mental health. And for me that's the most important thing when it comes to nutrition. Having a strong healthy body and a strong health mind changes EVERYTHING. I train women day in, day out. And I can tell you this- every woman wants to feel like she's beautiful, that she's enough, that she is a child of destiny, that her existence matters and she's not just a number or an object. .
    .
    Recently, after a traumatic period of life I threw myself into work, sometimes I didn't even feel like a woman... I often felt like my energy was spent on simply making sure everyone else was ok and the bills were paid... Survival. Survival mode on top bad nutrition is a RECIPE for disaster. Thank God I knew how to feed my body properly. And thank God for the amazing people in my life that helped me to remember who I was and who I was created to be. .

    I found freedom in my own body by feeding it correctly and training it intelligently, a byproduct being that I never really put on too much body fat even when I'm eating and drinking things that aren't great for me. So part of my mission is to help others find that freedom too. Yes this is a western world problem. Yes it can seem like a superficial one, but with heart disease as the biggest killer in the west, and the ever soaring rates of depression, and lifestyle disease, I think that it's a mission worth standing for.

    So as a 37 year old mother of two I'm here to celebrate my health and my femininity, my inner warrior and my girliness.
