I’ve seen Jude say “I love you” to Charlie, and after being met by silence, whisper to himself “I love you too, Jude” pretending the words came from Charlie. ⁣
⁣
Jude is such a sensitive soul. I can’t help but worry that being so soft will make him vulnerable as he gets older because we live in a world that shames sensitive boys. The expectation is that boys have to be strong. I wish for people to realize that feeling deeply has nothing to do with not being strong. Feeling deeply in a world where vulnerability is considered a sign of weakness shows strength. It takes courage to be yourself, to allow yourself whatever it is you need to feel in that moment. ⁣
⁣
Of course, Jude doesn’t have that level of thought yet. He feels deeply because that’s who he is and he doesn’t have the protective reaction from these emotions yet. But instead of encouraging him to not get so overwhelmed by his strong emotions, I encourage him to focus on his feelings and express them. I don’t want Jude to “toughen up” and bottle up all his emotions. I did that for too long because this is what I was taught as a child. I don’t want Jude to harden because the world expects him to. I do hope people will treat his fragile heart with kindness. All the love he gives so selflessly, he deserves to come back at him like a boomerang.

How do you store your undergarments? File folding your underwear and socks is the best way to ensure the elastic has a long life. Storing your bra’s with the cups standing will help them keep their shape. .
Using the dividers from the container store or IKEA maximizes the drawer space. .
.
How do you maintain drawer organization? .

Minimized our huge deep dark disorganized corner cabinet (I secretly despised it) 💃🏽 💃🏽 We had a bad leak going on above it which resulted in mold, three Cabinets being pulled down, drywall cutting and replacing and painting etc etc and my husband decided that the corner cabinet went through too much damage and had to go. So off to google I went and figured out the supplies for this DIY open shelf 🥰🥰 I’m in love with how it came out. I stand at this corner A LOT. It’s my home base. I cook, wash tons of dishes, and bathe my babies over there so basically I live there. It used to feel so dark and dungeon like and now I feel like I can breathe over there 😎 such a breath of fresh air— it’s amazing the difference open space can make you feel! ....... If we ever have a big ole house and a big ole kitchen it will be all white with white subway tiles and tonssss of open shelving instead of stupid cabinets. But for now, I am content and this was a huge upgrade 🎉 (don’t mind the scratched paint this was right after the shelf was installed so it got a touch up right after this picture 😏😏) now time to get everything nice and organized again because the contents of my cabinets are sprawled throughout our teeny apartment 🤯 it’s been a long week 😴 #minimalist #minimize #declutter #openspace #openconcept #openshelving #kitchen #makeover #diy #yay

Hi! I’m Cori and I have always love to organize. Even as a kid. I loved grouping things together. When my stuff was out of order, I didn’t like it. Nothing has changed! ✨
Thanks to everyone who has followed me over the past year as I started my business. Here’s some fun facts about me in case you wanted to get to know me better!
✨
I have never once had a cup of coffee. Don’t like the taste of anything coffee (yuck!)
✨
I never pierced my ears. (No women in my family has actually)
✨
I am born and raised in Los Angeles. My parents still live in my childhood home in the Hollywood Hills after 53 years of marriage. ✨
I have a Masters in Journalism from the University of Georgia. ✨
I have also lived in Miami and NYC, both for jobs for my first career. ✨
My 1st career was a TV producer. I have worked at both the Oscars & Grammys and met a ton of celebrities along the way. (But my favorite to meet was President Reagan and Carter. While I’m a Democrat, meeting a president is pretty darn cool if you ask me.)
✨
My 2nd career, I did medical sales. I changed careers without a stitch of sales OR medical experience. (I kicked butt in the field BTW.)
✨
I have sky dived. I have bungee jumped. I have hang glided. I used to love jumping off things. (Now I’m older and know better!)
✨
I don’t spend money on clothes, jewelry, shoes, etc. My vice is TRAVEL. I have been to 6 of the 7 continents and 26 countries. (This summer is the French Alps). ✨
I’m an avid skier ⛷ and love to scuba dive with my awesome 14 year old girl.
✨
And now, I’m a personal organizer. I’m creative. I’m hard working. And I’m super fun!! I promise to make the process painless, quick and ENJOYABLE!! Give me a call. No project too big ... or small. ✨

As we are most likely leaving our current home and we actually have no idea where we will end up at this stage, my husband decided to start selling stuff that was lying around. His kayak that he "had to have" had only been used a couple of times and he decided he should of got a dingy thing instead 🙈 It only sold for half its initial value and although I'm glad he recouped some of the costs, I think the lesson learned from this is to buy things second hand first to see if you will actually use them before comitting to the fancy new toy. This money will go in our maintenance account. I've got to replace the tyres on my car, a headlight and have a few jobs around the house (like fixing wallpaper) to do before we leave. Selling excess stuff will hopefully mean we dont need to dip into our savings or emergency funds #spendless #declutter #minimalist #minimising #thriftshopping #buysecondhand #sinkingfunds #sellexcess #lessismore #findyourbalance #debtfree #debtfreenz #debtfreecommunity #dfc #minimise #financialindependence

I had a goal planning session yesterday with... myself 😆 Dave (my man the DR, @daveramsey) helped me. Something about listening to his podcast gets me right in the brain!
-
So here’s what I wrote down. They’re not particularly good because they’re not SMART goals (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, measured over time), but it’ll do for now.
-
1️⃣Lose enough weight to feel comfortable - this is a super long term goal because it’s going to take time for me to get back to “normal” post bub.
2️⃣Cook healthy, nutritious, balanced meals for my family - particularly in light of bub starting solids.
3️⃣Research and start business while on mat leave - have started this! Might be a complete flop, but at least it will be fun.
4️⃣Pat off mortgage - yeah, just a short term one 😉
5️⃣Invest $1000 every month - to begin once our new house has settled. My husband is the investment brain in our household but I’ve asked if he’s okay with me taking this on as a bit of a project, with sign off from him in final choices of course!
-
Okay, there we go. Now I’ve gotta work out how to do all of this crazy stuff!
-
Have you set any goals recently? Would love to hear them!

Having a clutter-free home office is crucial. The sight of your in-house working space should never incur any stress by itself... it should be soothing and calming, even if your work is not!
That’s why storage and organisation are a key component of a home office and that’s where Homefulness can help you.
