This is what team work looks like! I found this clip recently of Adam and I, while we were fishing in Canada. I was completely unprepared for what to expect in Ontario, it’s partially my fault, as I was so excited to fish for Muskie and it was my first time. What I didn’t realize about that trip, was how unprepared I was, until we got to the lake. For starters I had only packed gear for Muskie, but I had not checked the Muskie season dates and we unfortunately arrived a week before the Muskie season opener. Another thing I didn’t realize was how much time we would spend trolling for walleye with light gear, and I had left all my light gear/rods/tackle at home. The final thing I forgot was to bring soft plastics and jigs for bass, so when we got into this back cove, where all the smallmouth bass were making their beds, I didn’t have very many options. I grabbed the smallest bait I could find and tied it onto my 50lb braid (😂🤦‍♂️) in hopes that I could set the reel close as possible to being able to toss this little bait. After a few failed attempts at casting far enough, I gave it a got flick and it was far to much for the reels settings and backlash 😂. @jeremywadeprodigy dealt with my anger outbursts and helped me get this backlash out. Thanks for being a good fishing partner 👊🏼🔥
