  • Just when I was falling into a spiraling tunnel of losing hope, depression, feeling not good enough, being turned down job after dead end job and thinking I& #039 ;d have to swallow my pride and start applying places my ego didn& #039 ;t want to, the opportunity of my dreams just fell into my lap. My first makeup teacher told me you always want to continue your education, find a mentor you look up to, apprentice, and work your way up in the beauty industry. Today I found my mentor - my boss, my teacher, my sponsor, someone willing to take me under his wing and share the skills and knowledge that he worked so hard for and made him who he is. On top of that, he is extremely kind and open-hearted and wants to see me reach my goals and utilize my passion in the industry I& #039 ;ve been wanting to work in over ten years. Sometimes the universe has a funny way of kicking your ass in the right direction. I really could not feel more grateful or humbled at this moment. Here& #039 ;s to the next HUGE step in my career as a makeup artist and esthetician! (and maybe more 😸)
