    You guys. This is my favorite easy soup and it is full of protein and veggies. I love this recipe because you really can’t mess it up. I call it ‘dump soup’ because you literally just dumb whatever veggies you have on hand into a pot! This soup has a base of bone broth which has 9 grams of protein per cup! So if you don’t have any meat on hand don’t worry! ⠀

    Makes 4 servings: ⠀
    🌱1/4 cup of each veggie that you want to use(I used broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, celery, and brussel sprouts, and white onion). ⠀
    🌱32 oz Bone Broth ⠀
    🌱8 oz low sodium chicken, vegetable, or beef broth. ⠀
    🌱1 whisked egg⠀
    🌱season to taste with; red cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, garlic⠀
    🌱green onions to top ⠀

    Combine all ingredients except egg in pot and bring to a boil, let simmer for about ten minutes. You may need to add a cup of water if you added a lot of veggies. Bring back to a boil and stir in whisked egg. You can also add any cooked meet to this if you want to. I like to add a bit of coconut aminos to mine as well. ⠀

    Beef noodle soup on a wintry night. This particular dish always seemed so simple whenever I would order in restaurants - noodles, broth, some greens. Tonight I tried to replicate it and it was my first attempt at achieving the quintessential flavour of the broth that is so full of depth and warmth .     Today I’m making my own beef broth. It’s my understanding that to make the best healthiest bone broth you should always roast the bones first, then let sit in cold water with Apple cider vinegar for at least 20 minutes before starting to heat the slow cooker. For example, when I make turkey or chicken broth, I always roast the bird first, then remove meat from carcass, then proceed with above mentioned procedure👍. Though these beef bones are not grass fed /pasture raised to my knowledge, I do still believe that making my own is the best way to avoid other preservatives etc present in store bought bone broths.

    Wholesome hearty beef bone broth for a cold snowy day. This is a traditional Armenian dish called "xash" - simmer cow feet for 4 hours, eat hot with lots of garlic and dried pita bread. I decided to substitute wheat with organic tortilla chips for a gluten free version of this homey goodness. Bone broth helps the body build collagen and reduce inflammation and heal the gut. And that shot of stinky garlic strengthens your immune system. Goes well with a shot of vodka! 😉 #dadscooking

    Loaded bowl of black bean noodle ramen for lunch🍜 It takes a bit of time and effort to make all the elements come together but it is so worth. It’s worth it bc it’s delicious but also bc you can make it with real, nourishing ingredients that will satiate you and make you feel amazing.
    What I did:
    _
    Air fried brussels sprouts, prepared black bean noodles according to the package, simmered @bonafideprovisions bone broth with ginger, garlic, chili flakes, s & p and lime juice. Soft boiled some eggs, cut up some bell peppers and avocado. Threw everything in the bowl with lime juice and some sesame seeds.

We make a big batch once a month and freeze it in mason jars. Not everyone has access to a farmer who can supply them with Grass-Fed bones, but lucky for you the good folks at Golden Valley have high-quality bones available at most grocery stores. They also have a killer broth recipe. ”
