"Dancing with a liar" is what I named this photo in 2016. I think it has another meaning today than it had back then.

Sometimes that liar might be myself. The lie being me fighting trying to be something I'm not. Recently I have had some insight about myself and all of the sudden I hear everyone talk about it. And the sound of it is sweet and nurturing.

To be constantly afraid, or to always have this kind of melancholy inside of me. It's something I fight, something I feel makes me less, it makes me fall.

I feel like it define me. And it does. It's me, and it's in my blood. Always trying to change, to do better. And I thought for so long that I "knew" how this worked, constantly trying to stay more positive.

But suddenly, some stories, some months of awarness and a teacher later. I see it. Me with all of these heavy feelings, is my strength. It's what I need to feel and put in to things in order to be me for real. And in order to not let it control me. So, I accept it. I embrace it. And I control it.
