    BACK AT IT‼️ I LOVE working my back. My pull movements are more “row” focus atm. Whereas, a lat pull is my preferred choice.  I’ve been seeking a chiro to help with a condition I have called costochondritis. I have a rib head slightly out of place and playing a little trial and error. Focused on scapular retraction (strengthening rhomboids) in ALL my exercises.

    Ya Baby! Last in my Age Category again this year! 💪💪💪 It’s was a great race - every year - great volunteers/supporters and course! Thank-you @lindsaykia all! 
I know I have lots of retraining and recovery still to to do. And I wasn’t feel good for the first 12K. But I’m so very disappointed. Not going to lie.

BUT!!! There was always this little voice that said, it’s only one race. I have many years ahead and I will be back at it. You are not allowed to quit.

Plus Ice Cream awaited at the finish. 
But the best part? Seeing friends crush the course, placing, people not giving up, and having fun. And the support. They get it. And there is next year. These things always happen and for a reason. And seeing a great college friend who every year has waited for me at the finish- that’s priceless! ❤️ #halfmarathon #raceday #run #neverquit #runner #keepgoing #trainhard

    Exercise shouldn’t feel like a chore it should be something you like doing. It’s all about finding out what you enjoy. .
Example - I get very board doing cardio such as running on a treadmill or sitting cycling on a bike for a long period of time. 😏 I would rather jump around doing hit work outs to loud music like push ups, burpees, squat jumps, skipping, punching and kicking the air.. 🎶😃💪🏻🎶😂 there is so much to do! I love weight training and i love group classes. 
There is so much to exercising, it’s not just running on treadmills and there will be something you enjoy doing. So find out what it is and start enjoying exercise. When you enjoy exercising along with balanced nutrition, long term changes happen!!! Remember good changes take time. ————————————————————————

has anyone read it?! I have never been a person to read books but this one was recommended to me and it is so inspirational!! ✨

    Real talk 👉🏻 Do you ever look in the mirror and all you see is your flaws and imperfections? 
Have you ever picked at yourself and all the things that you don’t like about yourself and wish you could change it? 
I did, for many years. Every time I looked in the mirror I hated something and wished I could change it. Whether it was the way I looked - a facial feature, a body part, skin colour, freckles or I’m not pretty enough, I’m not smart enough, why am I not like her, (the list gos on.) I doubted myself, i questioned myself, i didn’t believe in myself. I looked at others and asked myself why are they so lucky? Why am I not like them? All the negativity took over and controlled my mind. 
However.... I eventually realised that I had somehow completely lost myself. One day something just clicked in my mind and I changed my mindset and I stoped caring about what other people thought of me. I still remember the feeling being so strong inside of me. “ I am me and I like me!!” I found myself again and I learned to love everything about the real me. I learned NOT to let OTHERS opinions or comments ever effect me.

There will ALWAYS be people that don’t like you or like the way you look. Everyone has their own opinions. Why should that bother you? If we were all the same the world would be a bit of a stupid place right?

Sooo....

ACCEPT yourself 
BELIEVE in yourself

    Lazy Sunday 💖.
Was sind denn eure Hobbies??
Ich muss gestehen ich suche noch eins 🔍 🙈. Denn klar ist mein Sport mein Hobby, sowie gesund kochen und backen. Dennoch ist das eben wiederum auch Teil meiner Berufung 😅. Heute haben wir mal etwas gechilled und da kamen wir wieder darauf: jetzt wäre irgendein Hobby toll 😂, was nicht mit Fitness zu tun hat. Vielleicht setze ich mich auch mal wieder an mein Klavier 🎹. Da sollte ich aber mal ein paar Stunden nehmen 🙈. Nach gut 10 Jahren Klavierspielen früher ist meine Fingerfertigkeit lange nicht mehr so gut und das deprimiert mich dann 🙈. Ansonsten lese ich keine Bücher (außer Fachliteratur 🙄) und haben auch keinen Fernseher 📺 😎. Langweilige kenn ich trotzdem nicht 🤪.

    🇫🇷 Heyhey! Comment s‘est passé ton dimanche 🤗 Moi mon dimanche était cool! Ce matin c‘était entraînement épaules et bras avec des amis, ensuite on est allé manger une bonne petite glace 🤤🍦et cet aprèm j‘ai travaillé à la maison! Et toi tu t‘es entraîné aujourd‘hui? Et si oui quoiii? 💪🏼🔥 Sinon ce soir j‘ai envie de regarder un film, ça fait super longtemps ahah 😅 Un film drôle...🤔 Dis-moi dans les commantaires quel est le film le plus drôle que tu as déjà vu, ça me donnera quelque idées 😍

    If I could offer some of the most important advice that will make all the difference in your fitness journey, it would be:

Don’t expect massive change overnight. Set yourself up with a program that will bring you a lifetime of success rather than endless yo-yo’s, rebounds, and extremes.

Be patient. 
Be compassionate toward your body & appreciate it for everything it does for you. 
Show yourself love and grace everyday.

Positively affirm that you are WORTH living as your healthiest, happiest, most confident self.

Take it one day at a time.
