The temps make the case, especially during GBR! Here’s another anterior case where an Essex was made. In order to minimize pressure on the grafting, the temporary was trimmed. Surgical exposure also found an older implant placed deeply as well with some bone remodeling. On this case, I augmented horizontally 4-6mm and vertically 3mm. A subperiosteum release was done and one vertical release behind the canine. I will remove the frenum in the future. FDBA and xenograft was placed and secured with a BioXclude membrane 15x25 cut into 2 pieces and overlapping. I also placed it along the exposed root of the incisor and the implant crown. BioXclude allows me to do that. Primary closure was done tension free and the temporary adjusted. Pearl: Tension free closure is key. Save the frenectomy for the future if it may compromise the grafting. #delvecchiooralsurgery #cortlandtmanororalsurgery #jeffersonvalleyoralsurgery #oralsurgery #teeth #bonegraft #fdba #bioxclude #nyualumni #westchester #hudsonvalley #oralhealth #dental #surgery #friday

When cases become a challenge, use different techniques! This case is a failed GBR due to the temporary prosthesis being mobile and very poorly designed. I allowed the tissues to heal and a new temporary fabricated. Today’s case involved a generous flap for one tooth with vertical release incisions at the canines and periosteum releases as well. The original graft was evaluated and prepared to receive FDBA vertically and horizontally. The flap design also included an island of palate/crest tissue which I split in half to make papilla. BioXclude was placed on the buccal and a second BioXclude on the donor area of the palate. I was able to fill defect, cover the adjacent roots, advance tissues without tension. I then closed the case with suspension sutures using the contact points of the temporary. Just using what’s in front of me. Pearl: Revision/Regrafting failures are not easy. No two cases are alike. Use different techniques and pearls as you need them...and the temporary is equally critical to success. #delvecchiooralsurgery #jeffersonvalleyoralsurgery #cortlandtmanororalsurgery #oralsurgery #teeth #bonegraft #fdba #maxxeus #bioxclude #nyualumni #westchester #hudsonvalley

As many of you know, I wear a lot of hats. To simplify, I am a human - primarily a performer, teacher, and mentor. And the thread that runs through all the aspects of my work as a teacher & mentor is this: I help to develop performing artists to fulfill their potential. I take on long term students and also work “a la carte” (session by session). List of skills available to learn from me:
Acting - beginning to Professional
Singing - beginning to professional.
Dancing - ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary - beginning to professional.
Yoga - beginner - advanced.
Meditation- beginner - experienced.
Public Speaking - all.

You don’t need to desire to do it professionally to learn, I ask that you come with an open mind and willing heart.
I coach ages 12-101 years old. I love to work with high school students applying to college for the arts.
I perform all over the place and it brings me great joy! You can reach me here on the “Sosh meeds” if you are interested. I love to collaborate. When I agree to do a project, I give it all I’ve got.
My website is in the works with a full list of services - for example, I do on-set coaching either in person or via Skype. If you need a short warm up/focus session, I’m your gal.
I also coach people to be better at public speaking. I have very practical tools to be more confident in social settings.
So in this time when my site is under construction, please reach out via social media for inquiries. I am based in NYC/NJ and I travel for clients often.
A little about my career: I’ve performed on Broadway, in film, and everywhere in between including India and also the Tyrone Square Mall. I trained at NYU Tisch Atlantic Theatre Co. & CAP 21. I received my yoga certification at YogaWorks and continue to train under Jade Skinner. I am always studying, training, so that I bring only the best version of myself to my students/peers/collaborators.

I wandered around the NYU campus after having lunch with a dear friend last Wednesday.
.
It brought back so many memories about my time in college, but what stands out most is how I used to go back to Westchester almost every weekend in order to work. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and owned a comic book store while attending New York University. I sometimes look back and question whether giving up some of the weekend “fun times” in college was worth it.
.
Now, looking back, there’s no question that it was worth it. I was able to put into practice some of the business concepts I was picking up from college and put it right into the business. I learned how to interact with clients and how to dynamically adjust the business so that we could succeed. I learned so many practical business skills.
.
Yes, I did sacrifice some from a social standpoint - and yes, it wasn’t an easy decision back then -- but, when you make these tough decisions - try to put it in perspective and think about the future. Is what you do today really going to be worth it.
.
I often circle back to money because it’s something that can easily be spent and very difficult to save and invest. However, budgeting and coming up with a dynamic and tax efficient strategy towards saving can set yourself up for future financial freedom. You’d be surprised how little it takes - but you ought to be consistent and smart with your plan. If you need a little help thinking through some of this, let’s set up a free consult today!

I remember when I was pregnant with her an ultrasound showed that my placenta wasn't growing which meant she wasn't growing. They gave me all these medications and told me that if I didn't take them she would have severe learning problems etc. But the devil is a liar! I didnt take them and she turned out absolutely fine. Wishing a happy 22nd birthday to my beautiful daughter Ayanna! You are truly a blessing to my life. Stay strong, intelligent and ambitious. May God continue to open doors for you that no man can close

Screening one of my films here on April 25, 2019 at my alma mater Whitfield @whitfieldalumni which was followed by a speech for the upper class students with a Q&A toward the end. I got this opportunity because my junior year English teacher Laura Lotz @lotz.laura recommended me and alumni relations director Megan Campos elected me to be the Featured Alumnus this April. Thank you so much to both these incredible women and to my wife @mamainthesky and family for being so supportive about this experience. Had such an amazing time reuniting with all my teachers and staff and connecting with students. It was weird not recognizing a single face or knowing a single student’s name beforehand but the inclusive atmosphere felt all the same. The speech began a bit rocky because I had no idea what the focus should be on but with the help of some phenomenal questions by teachers and students we were able to figure it out. Thank you to my awesome high school photo teacher Cara Foster who made a very generous announcement for my event at assembly that morning and for gearing everything in the right direction with the seminar setting toward the end. Because of her help we were able to really cover some ground for juniors and seniors currently figuring out their path in life. I got to talk through things with students looking to get into media arts and faculty who are already in those fields in such a personal way that allowed for us all including myself to gain insight from the discussion. Such an incredible experience. Nothing but love and gratitude for the Whitfield community ♓️ Thank you again to Megan Campos and her team for putting this all together ☯️ photo captured by @lydee_di and shout out to @flyfishermansbs for also being there and the actors in the film that was screened @jscottatum and @mandyevans1 for joining us in spirit and Aled Roberts @aledrobertsmusic for a brilliant score. Thank you to Mary Schnitzler and Cipriano Casado for attending and spending their valuable time meeting up with me later that day #whitfieldschool #alumniofthemonth #alumni🎓 #nyualumni #filmscreening #highschoolreunion #schoolevent #indiefilmmaker #artistjourney #awardwinningshortfilm
