People are wired to think in in- and out groups. Us and Them. 
Doesn’t matter what “they” do or say, “they” are simply rubbish. (Even if I would divide you into A’s and B’s totally randomly this would happen 😳)

It’s how it works in teams as well. When the differences become visible, you get subgroups. And conflict. 
Us v Them.
.
A really effective way to be more constructive than Us v Them is to find and connect over things you DO share. .
As I am preparing to deliver a training about “Courageous Conversations” I had forgotten about this brilliant quote:
.
“But as Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi found in their pursuits of ending conflict in their respective nations, progressing from conflict to negotiation, accommodation, and peace means finding and emphasizing that which links us, not that which divides us”.
.
And that’s exactly what we could all do a bit more of.
Find what links us.
The world would be a much better place.

    It’s a two-way street. Are your people there for you? Do they also allow you to be there for them? True and authentic relationships go both ways. You deserve that. If you have relationships that are lopsided, ask yourself why. Is it that you’re always taking care of them, but they don’t show up for you when you need it? Do you ask for what you need, do they know when to show up? Or maybe you are the one in constant drama, and your people don’t feel comfortable opening up to you because they’re always holding you up. Can they count on you to show up for them? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Be grateful for your people. Let them know how much you love and appreciate them. If you realize your relationship is lopsided, have the tough conversation. If a difficult (but loving) chat is going to break your relationship, then you know they’re not your person.     Most of the time, getting a trademark takes a LONG time. We're talking anywhere from 9 months to a year (or more, depending on bunch of different factors that can vary with each application).

But what about those times when 💩 hits the fan and you need to get those fabulous trademark rights quick, fast, and in a hurry? Do you still have to wait all those months while (potentially) irreparable harm is being done to your brand?

Luckily, the answer is no!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There are a few situations that qualify you to get your trademark application reviewed through a streamlined process:
💁🏽‍♀️ if you're involved in a pending lawsuit because of a dispute with another brand
💁🏽‍♀️ if you're experiencing actual or threatened infringement
💁🏽‍♀️ if you need to use a U.S. trademark registration as the basis for a trademark application in another country (often, to prevent someone else from using or registering the trademark there)

But expedited almost always means "more expensive"...so don't wait until something goes wrong to think about getting a trademark. Be proactive about protecting the  brand you're working so hard to build!

I often ask other women what career advice they would give their younger selves. I love hearing about other people’s journeys of self-reflection and the wisdom that comes with experience. Of course, I’ve also spent a lot of time reflecting on my own journey, professional and personal, and I’m never shy about sharing my own thoughts with others. 😝⁠

But recently I’ve come around to a new sound bite that just hadn’t occurred to me before. ⁠

Stop taking everything in business so seriously. ⁠
⁠
Work hard? Yes. Educate yourself? Yes. Find your genius zone and stay on top of your game? Heck yes. But if I could give my younger self only one piece of advice it would be this – enjoy the process and lighten up – just a little. ⁠

    I often ask other women what career advice they would give their younger selves. I love hearing about other people’s journeys of self-reflection and the wisdom that comes with experience. Of course, I’ve also spent a lot of time reflecting on my own journey, professional and personal, and I’m never shy about sharing my own thoughts with others. 😝⁠

Поэтому не последнее значение имеет способ обучения, этапы овладения различными навыками.

Есть 5 этапов развития навыков:

🌀Неосознанная некомпетентность.
Ребенок ездит на 4-колесном велосипеде и думает, что он умеет хорошо ездить и легко пересядет на 2-х колёсный.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌀Осознанная некомпетентность.
Ребенок просит снять дополнительные колеса со своего велосипеда. После нескольких падений он понимает, что не умеет ездить.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌀Осознанная компетентность.
Ребёнок перестает падать и осваивает навык езды на велосипеде. Процесс требует огромной концентрации. В этот момент люди не могут расслабиться, а порой даже разговаривать.

🌀Неосознанная компетентность.
Регулярное применение навыка приводит к тому, что человек может не держать руки на руле,  и может одновременно разговаривать по телефону и следить за дорогой во время езды.

🌀Мастерство.
Наступает, когда практика доходит до 10 000 часов усердного труда.

К счастью, не все навыки нужны на уровне неосознанной компетентности. Часто можно остановиться на третьем этапе, мы же не должны уметь делать всё одинаково прекрасно. Когда понимаешь какой навык нужен, то тратишь время и усилия — чтобы сначала достичь среднего уровня, а затем довести до неосознанной компетентности.

Но предела совершенству нет и процесс может иметь спиралевидную форму. Ведь на каждом уровне есть более высокие уровни компетенции не нужные до поры до времени.

А как вы понимаете, что достигли мастерства в чем-то?

    Есть мнение, что в любой сфере жизни: духовной, психической или материальной, необходимо пройти по лестнице компетенций для того, чтобы достигнуть совершенства.
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
    Жизненный путь - это обучение новым навыкам и привычкам. Успешность человека напрямую зависит от того, чему он научился и насколько эффективно он применяет свои навыки в повседневной жизни.
Поэтому не последнее значение имеет способ обучения, этапы овладения различными навыками.
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
    Есть 5 этапов развития навыков:
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
    🌀Неосознанная некомпетентность.
    Ребенок ездит на 4-колесном велосипеде и думает, что он умеет хорошо ездить и легко пересядет на 2-х колёсный.
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
    🌀Осознанная некомпетентность.
    Ребенок просит снять дополнительные колеса со своего велосипеда. После нескольких падений он понимает, что не умеет ездить.
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
    🌀Осознанная компетентность.
    Ребёнок перестает падать и осваивает навык езды на велосипеде. Процесс требует огромной концентрации. В этот момент люди не могут расслабиться, а порой даже разговаривать.
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
    🌀Неосознанная компетентность.
    Регулярное применение навыка приводит к тому, что человек может не держать руки на руле, и может одновременно разговаривать по телефону и следить за дорогой во время езды.

    🌀Мастерство.
    Наступает, когда практика доходит до 10 000 часов усердного труда.
