- Let’s talk about this morning.
I spilled my coffee.
I forgot my laptop.
I was running late.
I got stuck in traffic.
I forgot my lunch.
I’m losing my voice.
Just gonna say it... it wasn’t a stellar day.
But you know what. Mind over matter.
I tried something different today. Every time something went wrong, I challenged myself to see the upside.
I spilled my coffee... but not all of it.
I forgot my laptop...but I had my notebook.
I was running late...but still made my meeting.
I got stuck in traffic...but it gave me a chance to catch up on the news.
This strategy worked surprisingly well. And by the end of the day, despite everything... I didn’t feel like I had that bad of a day.
It’s about your headspace guys. If you allow this small shit to throw off your entire day, what will you do when something major happens.
Take each thing, hour by hour and try to see the positives. .
My challenging headspace for today... I just kept thinking “I’m not where I’d like to be yet in my fitness journey”
But the positive to that... it means I have a hell of a ride left to grind out my goals & show myself what I’m capable of.
