    Tbh, working out has been the lasttttt thing I’ve want to do lately. Weird, I KNOW! Life’s been pretty hectic in both positive and negative ways and scheduling time my workouts was starting to feel like a burden.🤦🏻‍♀️

I wasn’t feeling super motivated or goal orientated in the gym and I was starting to drag my feet. For anyone that has had fitness routine of some sort, you know getting yourself to the gym is typically the hardest part.
.
But, I still made myself go! Why? Because at the end of the day no matter if my routine is off, if my workouts are terrible, or if I’d rather be spending my time doing something else; working out, and being active in any capacity, keeps my mind right and my body feeling it’s best.💪🏼
.
Not to be dramatic, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say that fitness (or just being active in general) has saved my life in more ways than one. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without committing to making activity a part of my lifestyle.
.
I wouldn’t be as physically or mentally strong. I wouldn’t appreciate my body as much and all that it can do for me. I wouldn’t be as competitive or driven—and lastly, and most importantly, I wouldn’t be as happy.💛

if it’s important to you, if it makes you feel better, and if it makes you an overall better person…JUST DO IT. Commit and follow through. Because if you can’t show up for yourself, how can you expect to show up in any other aspects of your life?🤷🏻‍♀️👀💕

    Your health is an investment you can make last long-term, put in the time, energy, effort and the money to make sure you take care of your body, you only get one! 
It’s not selfish to take “Me Time” 
You know that cartoon on the back of the airplane pamphlet, when in case of an emergency adjust your oxygen mask before helping others around you?? It’s the same in life, you have to take care of yourself FIRST and make sure you are OK so you can help take care of others.

Slow down, take a breath and think of something you can do for your health today 🖤

    I have been getting asked a lot about why I am posting 2 similar images in each post 📌 So I figured I should explain, here is goes..

A couple of months ago I had began noticing that social media had really began causing this overwhelming feeling among a large number of us that we were only ever being shown the “highlight reel 🎥☀️🌈of each others lives”.
.•.
As a creator of my own content 🎮- What I would wear, what the “vibe was”, what I would say or do, and most of the time even- scouting locations, setting up the concepts for each image, and then picking and editing my images…
I had always thought this artistic creation of each image was a way to be able to view the world through the portal of the eyes of the artist who created it. And that to me is enchanting. ✨🔭

But suddenly, I began to feel as though posting only the edited images wasn’t entirely conveying this beautiful and artistic world that I envisioned 🛸 but instead I saw that people were inherently feeling like they were being told a disingenuous story🕳

I had thought I was showing people a way of seeing a certain moment in time, in a way that none of us would have ever seen through our own eyes. But realized I was just perpetuating this idea of EDITED- perfection by only showing the finished portraits. 🕯 🎨 .•.
I knew that I needed to change something❣️

I didn’t want to stop creating these magical moments through my images 🥰 because to me, that is what holds it’s fun & magic 🧚🏼‍♀️ But I thought the easiest way to change the narrative to what I was truly trying to convey, was to share both the artistic side, along side, the real/unedited image.
