    The fastest way to failure is by taking short cuts!! Trust me, I spent the first 3 years of my business avoiding spending money on coaching because I "didn't have it". Yet, I had the money to buy useless business cards and a custom domain name for a website that didn't bring in paying customers, smh. .

    I ignored all the people who were kind of enough to give me free advice telling me to be more specific with my niche. I thought I knew better and that "my" way was going to ensure that I didn't leave money on the table--boy, was I wrong!!! First, I didn't even have money on the table. And second, I was so broke trying to serve everyone that my table was damn near 'bout to be repossessed. .

    I followed several IG sensations (who shall remain nameless) who taught about the creation of eBooks, sales funnels, low cost products, email lists and so on. All of that information was cheap (looking for the cheap way out was another terrible shortcut) and temporarily effective. But, the truth is a $7 eBook wasn't going to help me send my 3 kids to the best colleges. .

    Moral of the story, don't be afraid to do what's right. I experienced endless delays, detours, and missed out on some opportunities because I wanted to cut corners.
